What methods do the big name breeders use to feminize their seed lines?

Stress, Gibberellic Acid, Colloidal silver ... which method do each of the large breeders use to create their feminized seed line. I know DNA uses Gibberellic Acid ... at last I think I saw a youtube video where they said they did.

i thought it was about a hermi bread back in to a strain 4 times giving f1 f2 f3 f4. f4 being your least chance of the hermi trait. but i could be waaaaay wrong

i believe silver thiosulphate is the new rage... silver colloid is commonly used too, as far as i know...

I just had a run of 6 clones of Apollo 13-BX that started producing seeds after a light stress incident.

I didn't realize it until I began trimming for water curing.

Needless to say I ended up with 800+ feminized seeds from stressing the plants with light. And I still ended up with an ounce of usable flowers.

Best mistake I've ever made. I'll never have to buy another seed ever...LoL

Have you sprouted a bunch of them to confirm they are female?

No.
Feminized seeds are only as likely to "herm" as the plants they were made from. Most varieties are unlikely to produce hermaphrodites that have an X and a Y chromosome.

thank you I thought they were more prone to hermie, ... I have a bunch of seeds that I thought would most likely hermi on me so I started only one of them now and it's got nice buds 6 weeks into flowering
