I bet this is the tenth time I have responded to this type of post, and replied with the same response.

I would check this meter out, it does everything you would ever need.

Ive had em all, and like this one the best.

So damn reliable and professional. Can keep it in your reservoir 24/7 for immediate readings. >> http://www.ecogrow.com/index.cfm/product/667/mid/24/nid/88/home.html

Go with the Blue Lab combo like posted above. It works great and you cant go wrong with the 5 year warranty. Buy it also at your local hydro store. I bought a 24/7 nutrient monitor from horticulturesource.com it was a Control Wizard. It didnt work when i opened it. It has been a nightmare trying to replace it. Now I just want my money back and its been over 2 months. I cant stress to you how important this tool is. Because i was expecting my meter to come back to me asap i was using the ph liquid test. That was way too off. With hydro you have to be pretty precise. Its very unforgiving. I lost my crop because of that issue. But go with the BlueLab Combo you wont be sorry.

Yea, but whats up with the ppm 500 scale? And it takes batteries? Im cool with that. Looks Cheap, and probably made in China.

I like the nutri-dip because it reads ppm, the full scale. rez temp, and ph.. Just plug it in and go. And its made in Canada!! Quality.

Had one before ran it for years..Not one problem. Sold it to a guy, and he still uses it today.. Thats over 8 years ago!

Thats why i recently bought another one.

The one you bought is the cheap Japanese made tri-meter(control wizard) .. You can buy them on ebay all day long for around a hundred bucks.

Thats the reason it was junk off the shelf..lol!

It's made in New Zealand.

As for the 500 scale, read this: http://www.getbluelab.com/Support/Understanding+what+ppm+scale+to+use.html
