What meter should I get?????

I'm in the process of starting a 24 pot EBB & Grow system and I would like a meter than can read PPM and EC and PH and temp. Should I get one that can read all of these things or just one meter for each?

I want a good, high quality, reliable brand, saving money is not my concern, I just want the best meter I can get my hands on. Any suggestions? Thank you for any advice(+rep)

Get the multi if you can afford it. Hanna makes good meters.
yea Hanna is what i was leaning towards when I was browsing through a hydrofarm catolog, is blue lab any good?

I'm thinking I'm going to get a non-portable meter, should I get a portable to go with it to make sure it is calibrated b4 i take a reading? (i've never used one but I understand to calibrate they are put in a solution, thats about all I know)

Yea, that's what I had at first, but it wasn't mine so I had to give it back. I've had a hanna for about 6 years, and it works great.

I LOVE the BlueLab handheld combo (EC/PPM-Ph-Temp(C/F)). I have and still own the HANNA combo meter(s)-2 of them and can honestly say that the BlueLab is much, much better. The EC is factory calibrated at .5 conversion so need to calibrate, ever. The Ph meter is not calibrated but it is very simple to do so. The HANNA is also easy to use but the adjustment knobs for EC/Ph calibration are easy to move by accident, hence never knowing if you accidently "miscalibrated" the meter.
I am a new fan of BlueLab. So much that I even bought the TRUNCHEON stick, which works great! it is calibrated for life, no need to second guess it and it is water proof.
I hope this helps.
PS
The EC meter on the combo meter floats when placed in the reservoir, showing you that bluelab has thought of everything:)

I have used both the hannah mentioned and the nutridip trimeter in the 12 pot ebb and grow system. They both work well but I liked the nutridip better.

My buddy at the hydro shop said if your meter is not constantly submersed then it will be off, so does he mean only the PH reading gets out of whack since you said you never have to calibrate the blue lab's EC?

SHould i get that stick (which u said to always be accurate) to make sure the bluelab handheld combo is always good?

And how is it that the stick is always calibrated??? sounds dangerous lol

You said you had the handheld, what advantages does the non-portable meter have? thats what i was planning on getting, or should i just get the portable?

The EC probe floats? wouldnt you want the meter at the bottom of the res?

Thanks a ton for all the help i am very new to hydro and want to make sure I know everything i can b4 i jumo into it
