What light cycle do i use???

The seeds i am looking into useing are auto-flowering feminised hybrid Lowryder1 which flower at 6 week and harvest 8 week from seed! So could anyone sugest a light cycle for me to use i have a E40 200W 6400K 8U CFL for the veg stage and a E40 250W 2700K 8U CFL for the flower stage! (I would like to save as much power as posible so would prefer to have my light off at some point) please help tanks

20/4 is recommended for autos. I would use both lamps you have for flowering.

id go with 18/6 if u want the light off some, and u dont need to chang the light cycle cuz their autos

you can use 24 to 16 hr lights on. Your not going to save much with a 4hr shut down.

using cfls wont hurt the bill that much either

20 / 4 light cycle a must . but i would sugest lowrider #2 for a little bit bigger yeild.lowrider #1 is a bit small, i have been growing #2 for a while under same lights and is working out sweet !!!

Been a great help people! So if i go for 16 on 8 off would it do any harm to my plants, then just change to my 2700k when it starts to folower? Also what would happen if i did a 12/12 cycle ???

12/12 will make it go into flowering stage

but its an autoflower strain so it will automatically go into flowering.. Id say 18/6 is best bet but everyone has their own opinion. Its totally up to you but i wouldn't go 12/12 for your strain. And yeah cfl's dont hurt your bill too much and no one will notice if that's what youre worried about

OK cheers think i will try 18/6 so could i change this anytime through the grow with it being auto-flowering? The thing that was buging me is the hours that the bulbs last its estimated at like 10000 hours and the bulbs are expensive would like them to last a bit longer thanks
