Here's what I found when I did a google search of Do ants eat aphids.

Aphids are sucking insects that are common on both outdoor and indoor plants. They feed on the sap of plants and secrete a substance called honeydew. This sticky resin is a favorite food of ants, who actually “milk” the aphids for it by stroking their abdomen.

So these ants are basically beating off the aphids onto my plants and then eating it. fucking sick.

There you go, that will get you on the right track. It's better addressed now before they're reproducing in your roots. That can take a toll on plants. Also watch for lil flyers that look like fungus gnats. That's a sure sign they're in your roots and reproducing.
