Great job on the room and equipment, can't wait to see the fruits of your labor, I've helped build a room like that so I know how much work it can be, +Like +Rep man you totally deserve it.

It looks like you got a very nice pheno of the PE there, a buddy of mine had some and the leaves looked exactly the same, fat, stout & bluish green, absolutely gorgeous plant and the buds are AMAZING!!! Stinky, Sticky, Frosty & the Smoke, Flavor & High is KILLER!! Tried it for the first time several months ago and now its one of my faves.

Thanks bro I appreciate it, your not lying about it being alot of work, juggling school, building the room and taking care of my other room it got pretty stressful but I made it through and the semester is over in a week so things are looking up already lol . . . .Im curious to see other peoples PE phenos mine is chunky as ever, we'll see how it drys up but as far as structure its too sloppy for me. . . . but smells and looks like fire. Thanks for looking. . . Also you can check my other thread I just updated it with harvest pics from HGK 818 and PE

lookin good bro. did you build your room yourself or did you pay someone?
Thanks bro, I built it my self with the guidance of a few friends who know more about building than I do. . . . . Im actually about to tear down the ceiling and put up some ply wood support, because the support beams are not in my favor when it comes to my light positioning.

So my room is finally complete, I have the lights, ventilation, master controller and everything hooked up. I just need to put up a few fans, buy a carbon filter and stake up my plants, This will all be done tonight. So today starts day 1 of 12/12. I'l be posting pics soon.

Im going to buy ties for the wires from the ballast.

Thats pretty much it right now, nothing special too look at. I will be measuring the height of each plant and its stretch. I'll be posting their current height today.

Subbed so hard. Lol

Going like a bawss eh? I'm he paranoid type that would run that room a week or 2 before a single plant touched it to be sure there's no unforeseen problems or bugs to work out. Badass setup can't wait to see it produce

My yield isn't all that great but depending on the strains I get 18-24oz per 1000w most of my OG's yield around 18 oz per and others like Casey Jones will yield around 24. Thats without Co2. I'll be adding Co2 next run. Also that was from my other room where the temps were pretty high, and I didn't have the overlapping light like I do in this room. So I guess we'll find out in 9 weeks. Also im trying out 4 plants under each light with 8 weeks of veg instead of 6 under each light with 4-5 weeks of veg.

Lol I guess so, eventually I want to get to 10 or 12,000 watt set up. Yeah, I was so in a rush I didnt get to do that, and I have noticed a few issues that I need to fix but they are nothing major. The biggest issue was during dark periods, light will leak from outside through the exhaust port/ducting through the hood and onto the plants, not a big or strong light leak but something that needed to be fixed. So im going to try and do a loop with my flex pipe to eliminate that issue. But other than that so far so good. Temps are at a consistent 70-72 depending on the time of day. Humidity at around 45-50. Timers all working. I still wake up in the middle of the night to double checks things though.

Sounds nice. As for the loop to help close out light.. that is gonna cut the efficiency a fair amount. If u can get away with it awesome. If not I use 5 bounce dryer sheets stacked at a junction in the ducting. Smells great for a bit but more importantly blocks most all light and still allows airflow.

I'm jelly of the room man lol. We moved out of ours a few years ago but were running a 4k veg 6k flower set up for a few years. A lot of work and stress but I miss it more than I ever thought possible.

I have 2 vortex 8in fans 1 per set of 3 lights and its blowing hard (the distance isn't that far since the lights are like 15 inches apart. So a total distance of approx 13 ft.), Im pretty sure I can get away with it, but we'll see. I can always change it. How do you keep them in place? Do you have pics? . . . Nice, why don't you start it up again?

Shouldn't be an issue then lol.

I use 6" so its a little easier idk if dryer sheets wold work. I'd try a one or 2 gallon smart pot. Cut the section nearest the light leak in half and insert a coupler tape it in place then insert that end into the smartpot tape the top of te pot to the ducting so ur coupler sits flush against the bottom of the smart pot then work the free half of ducting over the smart pot about level with the smartpot and tape it in place and ur done. I'm sure that doesn't read as easy as it is. Same concept as what I used in the past just different material. I'd go with the Aurora bran fabric pots the really thin cheap feeling ones. They'd have minimal effect on airflow but would still block the light. Lmk if u need a bit of a tut. I can take a few quick pics once I get to the grow in a few. Ur loop may be the best option considering the breathing room you've got with 2x8" lol.

I wish I could. It was a very secretive three partner deal. They financed and handled everything past it being cut down. Unfortunately one let a coke habit get the best of him the other got so paranoid he fled the country and I honestly don't know that I can physically handle the constant labor and stress anymore. It was legal depending on who u talk to but it didn't feel right and I've spent my time and money since providing for cancer patients out of pocket. Feels great but I miss the site of 10kw in all its glory.

With the secretive nature I only have 2 pics. 1 is an agent orange that yielded well and the other is the ao in bloom just before cut. The only other one I have has my face in it. Happy to post the other two but they're Hardly noteworthy IMO. Ill have to get some new pics of the tuff shed we did if I can. That was a thing of beauty.
