And what's up with this taking pictures with the body? I've never seen that done before until a family friend died. He was a dealer and used to be in some big gang, so a LOT of these gang banged out lookin fools come to the funeral, and they all start taking pictures with the open casket! Throwing up gang signs and fucking being all up on shit. It was seriously pissing me and my family off, because it just seemed so disrespectful...

As for your dad, that's fucked up that your brother tried to force you to touch him. I remember the first time I touched a dead body was at a funeral and everyone walked up to the casket and either touched the person or kissed his forehead. I kissed his forehed. It was very cold.

I knew they used to do it way back when, there have been two horror movies that showed it...I know one was the Haunting in Connecticut and I'm not sure what the other one was...maybe the Skeleton Key? Not sure...

But still, freaks me out when i see people doing it today.

I have to say I agree with oj on this one. I've worked in a nursing home.I'd much rather end life on my terms than become a burden financially and lose my independence and dignity as I rot away in an old folk's home.

Not if it meant my kids having to find me. I had a friend whose dad did a murder-suicide with their mom. ALL of their kids were out together, and they all got to come home and find their parents like that. It was pretty horrible.

They were ages 15, 17 and 29 I think...didn't make it any easier on them. But I know what you mean, I wouldn't want to be a burden to my own kids. My mother has actually told us that if anything happens to her and she's a vegetable, that she wants us to pull the plug.

my biggest fear would be being kidnapped... i fear that if i ever did kid napped no one would know because i go weeks with out talking to the people in my family and i fear that if they did see i was kidnapped it would be too late and my kidnapper would kill me... i really hate going out by myself...
