What is this?

Hey Guys, I've never seen this before. 1st pic. is a critter I found roaming around in my girls leaves. 2nd is what appears to be an greenish egg sac on the end of a
black hair, attached to the side of a leaf. I've spotted them before, but this is the first picture. Any info regarding this would be most helpful.

Fully agree with Serapis on this one. It is a variation of the WESTERN FLOWER THRIP.

I personally would use something with the active ingredient SPINOSAD spray leaves top and bottom and also drench the soil.

Any contact with SPINOSAD (which is a bacterium that was found in an unused RUM DISTILERY) is fatal.

Contact alone WILL kill thrips and also any ingestion. Ingestion works alot faster than contact..
