Is this mag deficiency? Its my first grow, Ive tried researching a while but im sure experienced eye's would be ale to tell.

im not really sure but it kinda looks like nute burn to me. have you ruled that out as a possiblity?

Looks like early Mg deficiency. Check your pH and make sure it's in the right range. Soil should be 6-7, hydro should be 5-6 (ideally 5.8-6.0)

nah not mg, i had this happen to sum purple crack when i transplanted the clones, the soil in the cups was very compact and the roots were not able to grow good they were fighting to get out.

looks like a burn to me

they're in hydro.... its off a flowering diesel ryder, nutes are low... probably around 600ppm and the pH is 5.8
