only thing i see in the growfaqs bug id pics that look similar are flea beetles, but i dont think it is, i'll keep looking, heres the flea beetle pic anyway though.......I dont think its gonna be a problem for you, its probally harmless to mj.

just watch your plant closely if you cant confirm if it is harmless or not and you'll be fine

If those are aphids you will be able tell because they have spikes in the back called cornicles. I can't see the back of your bug particularly well but you can see them very clearly in darkdestruction's second pic. See those little tube shaped things on their backs towards the end? Aphids use those to secrete defensive chemicals. I don't think your bug has them but it's hard to tell. I would recommend a wide spectrum insecticide like neem oil or perhaps pyrethrin if you notice any damage.
