What is the standard "payment" for trimming help?

I get about a pound per harvest and I offer my helper $100.00 cash or a 1/2 ounce for helping me (he always takes the smoke)

It will take us 4 hours to complete the job as I provide the beers and we smoke the scissor hash, all in all it is more of a social thing than work!

i have a good friend who helps me to trim, seeing as i only grow a few plants at any 1 time i give him beer and a good smoke while he is here with me, and i send him home with a good few gram

geesh, I think most of you guys are pretty generous. especially for 10-20$ an hr. I always do it myself cuz I cant afford to pay anybody, just me an my partner (my grow partner, not the other kind, not that theres anything wrong with that), usually takes us bout 8 hrs.
Wish I knew some of you personally. Super trustworthy dude, Id never think about screwin anyone out of shit. Just wanna live my life and play with pot all day. Nothing else really seems to matter to me. Dont know if theres a hippy commune in the NorthEast but I'm ready to head there....

yeah and if you have any small lowers they never get trimed

let your trimmers keep the clippings from whatever they trim, and the scissor hash.

im lucky enough to have another place to trim besides my grow house. so alot of time i pick people with girl friends cause they trim for free. bitchs like to trim its cool to them

yep. everybody just wants to trim the big colas. then take a few cell phone pics. then some more beers and stories. maybe some more pics. then they all leave. the room is a mess and the table is covered in 2 pounds of untrimmed popcorn nuggets. and i have to stay up late to finish it all and clean up.

haven't had an outside trimmer here in over 3 years.

I smoke with my trim helpers all year long but there my good freiends and there happy and always leave with nugs. When I help trim I get a oz a day! But I trim fast somewhere near 1and a half pounds in 8-10 hours

personally if it were a few days of work.. id be stoked for no pay and just a quarter OZ hahah.. seriously if you have some friends do it.. even if you dont get shit. its so lovely just to be around the plants

I 2nd this. $200 a pound or a ounce is usually the going rate in
Humboldt and Los Angeles.

for reals i know how you feel. I hate trimming. I only like to trim the tops. and I have mostly tops but even if you thro away a 8th of littles off each plant 63 plants that would add up. and if you trim it at the end you have little ass buds in one sack and have to discount it. or grind it wich i dont have time to do now days

i pay depending on strain. some strains can take twice as long to trim then others. last harvest i paid 200 per pound or 150 per pound but u get to keep half the trim. usually pay in bud so it works out better for me and the helper
