Buying a kit is like trying to get a good audio system in one box instead of researching and selecting components yourself. The SH box of stuff is the "Bose Wave" of hydro kits.
What is the difference btween stealth DWC and Bubbleponics?

You will find pics of a seed grow started in plain DWC, no feeder tubes, and comparison pics of seeds started at the same time WITH Feeder tubes and water pump, that he did as an experiment.

Some like buying components and some like it right out of the box. I guess that's why I own two Bose Wave machines.

But any dwc system with a pump and some tubes does that. Bubbleponics is a proprietary name and has nothing to do wih any technology new or old. Yes it works, I have a feeder tube setup and a mister setup and am running neither as my roots are in the water. If you want to spend more money for the same results go ahead, it can be a bad decison you can learn from.

What is being sold to newbs here is that pumps and tubes are a wondrous new technology recently discovered by Stealth Hydro and available only in their bubbleponics kit. And worse, that apparently hundreds or thousands of dwc growers before just never (doh) thought of pumping some water up and dribbling it on a rockwool cube. Too bad for them because, as the pictures "prove", seedlings grow ever so much faster when spit upon by an aquarium tube.

What? And nobody ever did that before the big "breakthrough?" Is there really anyone who accepts some nice pictures as evidence that something as simplistic as "bubbleponics" is really an improvement over what people have been getting grows like that in for years?
Look dude, life isn't as narrow as you might like it to be. There are different stokes for different folks; so why not chill and let go of your obsession with SH Hydro.

I'm also for a diversity of opinions being expressed and will continue to present some small measure of balance to the well-organized rah rah over "bubbleponics." A bunch of supposedly grown men with a juvenile logo and a "no opposing opinions allowed" sign on their clubhouse door (and you call me obsessed?) will hardly intimidate me.

You benefit from promoting SH, and thats fine, but it's not fine to turn the Aero/DWC portion of RIU into a marketting machine, especially when it is taking advantage of peoples ignorance. Of course you will do it, and if not you then others, but I don't like it and will express that openly.

i have always looked at roseman's threads as HOW TO's, DIY info,,, never as ad's, but thats just me take from it what you can - he praticaly takes everything apart, part by part , and even tells you where you can find things.... WOW,,,,,OMG. i have to go clean my mouth out kiss-ass

I spent about 3 months reading everything I could on different systems, styles, brands, methods. The first thing I learned was there is no one magic bullet, there isn't simply one style that is superior for EVERYTHING. Much like clothing it boils down to personal style, skills, likes dislikes. I like skirts, on chicks... on dudes not so much. You also don't want to be the tool who shows some place wearing a suit when everyone else is wearing shorts and t shirts.
I my self would, and did, build a system that fits my needs and space. I dont have the space to do a dwc, and I want to achieve a mini perpetual grow. I use a top drip for veg and ebb and flow for flower. right now I am trying a fogponic cloner. All of my systems components have their advantages and disadvantages.
After learning a bit more about the systems you need to look at what you want to achieve, and what equipment is necessary to achieve it. buying a system gets rid of the guess work in construction. I however will guarantee that the path will still be filled with questions and challenges. Aside from asking people on the forum your only other method is trial and error. Thats why most people me included start with bagseed. If you want to do a stealth hydro system Roseman has great how to's. If you don't have any tools all of those you can do it for $7 but if you have to buy a $30 drill and 20 bucks worth of bits, then an extra 10 in odds and ends. That $7 project just found its way to $67 quick. However you learn a lot from building the system and you can get IDENTICAL spare parts for mission critical parts. Which can turn a killer down time to a mild annoyance. But when it comes down to it its all about what you think is best for you.
But to answer you original question is stealth has a top drip too.
Also if you dont want to build a system you might find some on places like craigslist or kijiji. Good Luck!

If any of you people have an ounce of common sense left surely you can see what it means when roseman pms his obedient troops, and apparently even strangers, asking them to rise en masse for what? To silence one dissenting voice. It has often been noted by psychologists that those who strive obsessively to create personal domains and create followings on anonymous internet forums have little to hold onto in the real world. I think it's sad but it shouldn't be approved.
Note too that neither roseman nor his army of clones is willing to engage in a civil debate about just what sets this bp apart. No-one can explain why it is a "breakthrough technology" when it accomplishes nothing that hasn't been done before. No-one can explain what the hell it means that it "delivers solution directly to the inner root zone." Instead the mantra is to question whether I have ever grown anything because I don't post pictures.

If the person pointing out that the emperor has no clothes is a mere serf does that make the emperor less naked? I'm not going to rise to that bait because I have nothing to prove and nothing to defend. Suffice it to say that in less than 3 months on RIU I have well over 300 +reps from people who apparently thought I knew something. Roseman knows a lot more about growing than I do and I've learned a lot from him. But you are only kidding yourselves if you believe that anyone would bother to rise up with the wrath and invective he shows and organizes behind the scenes in order to silence just one voice that disagrees, and do this for any reason other than a vested interest. Roseman brags that SH sells 60 kits a day. Isn't it curious that he is so on top of that number? He has already been given one infraction by riu for spamming for SH (this by his own admission). Do you see anyone else on riu forming clubs around a proprietary product? Do you see "The Advanced Nutrient Kids" or the "Sun Leaves Gang?"
I'll say again and will continue to say that bubbleponics is no breakthrough and accomplishes nothing new. It is a clever marketing scheme that works much better than the pumps and tubes do. The hijacking of riu is so transparent that even a poser like me who has never grown anything

I've read a lot of his threads though, and it is obvious that he has a relatively close relationship with the proprietor of SH, and has benefited from that relationship. The fact that Bubbleponics is not a style of growing but a proprietary name makes the use of it insinuating that it is a piece of SH technology misleading.
