What is the best way to mix buds in bubble bags?

I got a bunch of old buds from last season. What would be the best way to break down the buds without pulverizing the plant material (example:coffee grinder)?

dont grind them unless your doing a dry sift really... if its dry you can spray it with some water before you freeze it in prep for making bubble it will freeze before you get mold no worries and it will soak up some of that moisture honestly i do that to my fresh trim so it can be covered in ice before i dump it under ice and run ice water over that..

That's makes so much sense. I was looking around in other forums and they were saying to break them down to popcorn nugs(the ones i have are big dense nugs), but there are others out there saying its not a necessity. What are your thoughts on that? Thanks
