Hmmm. i forget what is acceptable. I know someone will help you out soon enough though, check back daily :]

Side note not too off topic..

I've been using a glass tube.. i've cracked/broken a tube about 5 times now.. Its irritating..
I could really appreciate a metal tube for its durability..

BUT! Our bic lighter are made to handle isobutane fuel.. I've researched, and found both the shell, and inner casing to be made of polyacetal plastic.
Sooooo. Can we just make our tubes out of this plastic? who has got a red flag they can back up?
I see how keeping the column cold is a factor that helps. if we insulate the outside well, i feel that would solve any of those issues...

andddd, any red flags on the space craft aluminum?

Guzias...

Try these guys..

Extraction experts

They make a sweet fucking metal tube, removable rubber stopper at one end, makes for super easy unloading.

No more cracking, or breaking..

I would still use your custom” set up”..which is super sweet btw.

Their tube comes with this tripod thingy that's sits in your dish.. Don't like that part, but the rest is fantastic way to blast.

I'm looking for a more efficient metal tubed system.
That is fun. But doesn't appeal to me. I want to reclaim.

Ahhh.. You want the Tammi? .. I've heard both good and bad about the tammi.3 other posters from different forums, got all excited and bought the unit, used it for a few runs, then go back to standard tube.If you'd like, I'm still pm-ing with them.. I can ask specifically why they didn't like it.

Ya. I'd like to know why they don't like it. I'm not looking at the tammi. But something similar.

There has got to be an Art to the recovery systems, ... I've heard pros and cons. And different consistency results.

The pros that get me are the recovery, the efficiency of soaks, and above all. The purity.

I want to extract the most with the tane. And then winterize the Hell or if it.

There has got to be some health concern issues with the way I been making it.. Even with enough ventilation, I tend to stick my head right into the vapors. ..

expelling gasses like this just don't seem right. ..

To answer the original question, anodized aluminum (Aluminum oxide) is OK, but mill finished aluminum may not be. They are still trying to decide whether the substantial aluminum deposits in Alzheimer patient's brains are the cause or one of the effects of the disease. Until they do, I avoid aluminum containers for foods and meds.

A much cheaper alternative to the Tamisium, is the DIY Lil Terp at http://skunkpharmresearch.com/passive-butane-extractor-and-reclaimer/

Because aluminum has a participation factor w tane and carbonic acids which can be an issue if eaten. Stainless vessel is the choicest material for health and food grade extracts.
