the old timey hippies swear the best time is at the full moon when the sap is highest.

but seems to me full moon and ripe plants usually dont happen at the same time.

so id say do it at high tide when the gravitational forces are strongest

During the lights out period. I believe that the plant transfers the nutes from the leaves to the roots at night

just after lights out. i don't think it really matters time of day per say, but just after lights out cause you might as well give them that last full day of light anyways. just my opinion though

Not sure if this is odd or what? Or perhaps its just the light from the sun playing tricks on my eyes.. I can visually see more trics on my plants about 11am (when it starts to get much hotter out in the day 85-110 degrees.. ) I also read that other Herbs.. are best picked in the am when their oils are at the peek.
I have about 2-3 weeks left till one is ready and since it's my 1st one.. I really want to get it 100% right

Before the light comes on! Light degrades THC and THC builds back up during the night period, so it should always be best to harvest when the light should come on soon.

I was reading some stuff on perfume making, and they harvest there flowers in the morning when the essential oils are at there peak.

so when we say morning and were growing indoors, is this going to be 6 oclock in the evening if your light turns on at seven?

i read it stimulates production of THC and terpenes
Thanks Danny. I did some research and found a good read and it sounds like 36 hours is optimal as after that the plant has no more energy stored to produce any more resin. Thanks fore the info!
