i use plagron light mix soil and hesi nutrients.never let me down.both made in holland too.
but there are many top quality soils and nutrients to choose from,it all depends on budget and what you fancy.

Some of the best fertilizers include Bat & Seabird Guanos, Fish Emulsion/Hydrolyzed Fish, Bone Blood & Kelp Meals, Maxicrop & other seaweed ferts, Worm Castings and certain high-Potassium ashes. Imo the absolute best soil mix is one you make yourself over many grows learning exactly what your plants need and can handle. Edna's Best Potting Soil is a great mix and Black Gold makes a good base substrate to start with as well. For vegging, we often use 3 parts potting soil, 1 part perlite, 1-1.5 parts Worm Castings (little N, Mg and other micros), Bone Meal (N & Ca), Blood Meal (N & Fe) and Kelp Meal or Maxicrop (little N, moderate K & micros). For flowering, we'll add Ph adjusted 0-0-30 Palm Bunch Ash to the mix. We'll fertilize with Guano & ash teas, Maxicrop and Fish Emulsion.
