yea a buddy had a 25th anniversary body but no drive, did the engine swap and got to keep the '89. i rebuilt the ls1 and did some engine work, came out a junked early 90's vette, and a th350 tranny i had laying around. made some motor mounts, had to knock out the fire wall.......anyway. amazing car, permanent convertible did alot of custom work. definitely one ofmy fav cars

nice car you got
dont got it anymore lol.. sold that a long time ago, just still had some pics. now i got a 2015 chevy silverado z71.. its a piece of crap. a 2011 chevy 2500 work van and a 1965 Shelby replica with a 427 cobra in it im looking to trade for a chevelle. the shelby replica is real cool.. but too basic for me, bought it on impulse kinda. runs awesome, real fast.. but no roof, no radio, no nothing is a pain in the ass and its taking up space in my garage lol

edit: was the motor you had an LT1? they were awesome too.. before the LS1.. the LS1 didnt come out til 97 i believe

I'm making a list for my own amusement. Here's what I remember driving . I usually had 2-3 at a time, at least. I can't pick a favorite. ..
1983 Chevy Citation, lasted 3 weeks and I blew the motor.
1986 Chevy Cavalier, rolled it once, totaled and repaired it at least 4 times I remember. .it was a Frankenstein. ..possibly my favorite, took the worst beating and kept going. .oh the memories!
1985 Chevy Camaro, meh
1985 Jeep CJ5, 6"lift 36's straight 6 5 speed locked axles. Fun, but dangerous. .I traded it for. ..
1985 Buick Regal...meh
1986 Chevy Monte Carlo LS (SS clone), this was fun, bored 4.3L , high compression with a cam. SS nose. Stripped interior. Big and littles. It was built for nitrous, but never on it.
1978 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham 2dr, 350ci buick, handling package. Would cruise at 120MPH and was more comfortable than my couch
1989 Ford Bronco II Eddie Bauer 4x4, probably the most capable stock 4x4 I've owned. I could squeeze it anywhere and it never got stuck.
1986 Chevy Camaro, secret built 350ci, built auto, posi, reinforced suspension, mini tubbed..built from junkyard parts, ate up plenty of shiny, big money cars. .lol. No one believed I was spinning a stock cast bottom end over 7K. Paced by some rice rocket up to 140MPH and I was still accelerating. ..he backed off.
1979 Ford F250 4x4 "Snowfighter", toughest truck I've owned, 400ci 4speed locked axles it rotted away, I cut the body off, welded a crane on the frame, it's a yard truck now, I still plow my driveway with it. Haven't checked fluids in maybe 5 years, throw a battery in and it starts.
1989 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D'Elegance Best Road Trip Car EVER!
1989 Chevy Blazer paid $500, put on big tires, wheeled the crap out of it for a year, sold or for a grand
2001 Buick Regal LS, best AC, it would literally frost up the outside of a beverage if you jammed it in the ducts
2003 Ford Crown Victoria Sport thought it was going to be my last car
1995 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 SLT 12v Cummis 5 speed what a beast
2009 Cadillac DTS fuck new cars... $1300 for a fucking headlight!
1996 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 SLT 12v Cummins, Doomsday device in progress
2006 Ford Crown Victoria Sport with some goodies..my last car?

I've also owned:
1973 Chevy Caprice Brougham
1971 Chevy Cheyenne 4x4
1982 Chevy Camaro
1969 Chevy Impala SS427 Convertible
1979 Ford F150 4x4
1979 Ford F250 Supercab
(2 almost identical)1997 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4
1979 Shovelhead chopper
2000 Harley Sportster 1200S
2009 Harley Road King "Peace Officer Special"<this was awesome, it was only supposed to be sold to cops. I got two dealerships in a bidding war over a black road king, this is what I ended up with . First sicker, FTP.:finger::mrgreen: Then big apes. I miss my bikes.
I'm sure there's a few I'm forgetting. ....

I got a 1973 Malibu I'll trade for the Shelby. Old lady car. ..like 110K original miles.350,auto. Needs to be restored. I have a NEW black swivel bucket seat interior in storage. It needs quarters, but I have some originals for patches that were cut off another car. It was my father's, I inherited it, is just sitting. There's other parts, a rare 4 speed console I remember, I think I have a Laguna nose and till panel. I could even throw in a built th350 and a 350 motor he had. Forged bottom end, 12.5:1, big cam, old school heavily ported fuelie heads, roller rockers. It was supposed to be around 500hp..bottom end got assembled years ago and it's just sitting.

My best was a 1998 Mercedes E55. I bought it in 2001. Stolen in 2003 and never recovered
I have a 1978 Porsche 911 in my garage. Not road worthy but getting there.
Had a few Landrovers and Range Rovers. Loved them all. Great work horse.

i had a buddy with a grand national when i was in high school.. it was awesome, i still want one.. but they are hard to find one in good shape without the shit kicked out of it. he used to come out of our school parking lot sideways almost everyday lol
Nsx?

I went through a phase with ford rangers. I would build one or two a year. I would put either ford 302 or Chevy small blocks in them. Ford motors are more work. You have to cut the corner out of the blower box and flip it, epoxy it back to clear the passenger valve cover. You also have to mount the oil filter on the fender.

I've been spoiled with cars over the years but so far I'd say the best overall I've owned is my 65 veedub
Easily it's the loudest and most attention grabbing.
I had a 2006 Impreza wrx sti that was a blast to drive. Would have kept it if the brake job wasn't close to 5k lol
Worst pos I drove was a 86 lada niva lol only got to put about 100kms on it to and from the mechanic
