What is Scrog

Someone please tell me what the scrog method is? How does it work? What are the pros and cons?

Scrog is growing under a net or screen with 2inch by 2inch squares. Screen of green! it's so only the buds poke through and they get all the light. It's great for small space's. Your best bet is a search.

its like a hybrid sea of green/ multiple bud site per plant grow... you should check out the GROWFAQ section on the top left of every page on this site

right on... i searched it and i thought i read somewhere u could scrog by tying down the main stalk. and if so, my ladies have been topped. I'm working with a really small area and they're mostly sativa. is there any way i can apply this method, to my girls. please hurry before stalks get to hard to bend without hurting them. thanks for the help. this site is good for beginners, thanks a lot!!
