For anyone like me........

The return of Ruderalis
thanks for a lil bit of stuff i didnt already know.
hmmm root bound plants go easily into flowering.....seems more like to me that they should have said stressing makes the plant go into flowering more.
So what if one of these plants were grown with only mh? it would grow taller and flower less before it reached its flowering maturity correct? then one could add in hps with the mh. and fluros would keep it shorter and bushier before adding hps @ flowering maturity?
any input?

you could just do a flor/hps combo. for max bud weight theyd be dense. my next mass cropping is going to be with that setup. tried once, worked out well.

I am doing some work with crossing the LowRider #2.
Has anyone on this website done that?

19 Days is about the average for me before I can tell sex.
I am getting about 4 more inches with useing MH for the whole life cycle.
IMHO I have found that MH for the first 50 days 18/6 with grow nutes, then HPS till harvest 12/12 and bloom nutes
I have gone 55,60,64 days and liked the 64 day harvest the best. going to try around 68 or better, see how that goes.

ok hopefully this post will clear up any confusion.
the original low ryder was an autoflowering ruderalis crossed with a very potent santa maria. there is also a low ryder #2 which im not sure of the background on, but it's potency and yield are higher than the first. there are plenty of variations on this, including master low. ruderalis DOES contain thc, but so little that it's not very good for getting high. however, since ruderalis is a cannabis plant, it was able to crossed, and subsequent generations back crossed to form a stable autoflowering yet potent offspring. this being low ryder. you CAN LEAVE THE LIGHTS ON 24/7 AND IT WILL FLOWER. ruderalis is genetically structured to flower regardless of light cycle. it flowers according to age, genetically. there are companies, including myself who are working on developing this into top notch cannaseaur quality herb. one of the latest and best progressions is blue streak, a cross of master low and blueberry. it is being stabilized and should be out in the next couple of months, available at seedbanks. mdanzig from icmag is the creator.
the original lowrider was a cross between ruderalis williams wonder and northren lights lowrider 2 is a cross with santa maria

hell even if the heigth isnt close to the others, grow wem all out to see which is best. id like a firsthand opinion from someone myself. Im getting more interested in the autoflowering strains but i dont have the cash to order beans (or a us contact) right now so i cant find out for myself.

someone told be or i read somewhere, i dont remember which, that the autoflowering strtains dont do well outside under natural light....... and if that is true then thats kinda sad......ive been egtting into the idea of keeping a few big ones around to grow out before all my other plants finish.i usually run outta smoke before the grows are done, if i dont do prepetual so i usually keep a couple in flowering with the rest just to chop on and smoke bit by bit (make a sacrifice and spare the rest.....lol)
an earlier finisher would take out the need for a live smoke plant because i wouldent even have to grow it under the light and it wouldent be outside half as long and i still wouldent have to buy another hid to suck up energy and keep me in weed from g2g
anyone know anything about solar panels?

ye i think i will Kochab, i will grow the blue streak, and the lowryder #2, but is there any point in growing the original lowryder? it isnt as good as lowryder #2, i want scias to make 1 of his new strains (duno if you have seen the post, but it gd!) it would be amazing if he crossed Hawaiian snow and lowryder, mmmmmm, duno if you have heard of hawaiian snow....23.7% THC, 1.1% CBD, 0.8% CBN and a yield size of 550-600 gr/sqm!, lowryder#2 is about 20%THC if grown well(so i have heard), with a yield size of 50-60g per plant, it would be a very interesting strain if crossed! snowryder :D

is that yield for lowryder depicted upon indoors or outdoors. thats probably using optimum conditions as well
so indoors i would get about half of the original yield prediction, and not having optimum conditions (like most people here) im taking 1/3 off again. meaning i think id end up with about 17grams per plant......
seems kinda iffy to me so far.

just got done with a harvest of 5 low ryder plants- got close to 100 grams once dry. The smoke is excellent I would rate it with some of the better strains (12-14%) and most definately will grow again.

3.8 oz dry for 5 plants........not bad. Got any pre-dried and post-dried bud shots?

i know some strains can be harvested multiple times from the same plant, (i mean not cutting it down in order to harvest) i was wondering if due to its autoflowering characteristics anyone knew if this would be affected or not. so i guess i'm asking if you can get more than one harvest out of a lowryder plant, does anyone know?

havent ran with blue streak yet, but have watched other grows closely. autoflowering is high success and will be 100% stabilized on the next release. yield is about .5 oz. per plant, but you could take that higher. id say peak is probably 2oz per plant, but since no light regimen is req. you could plant a shitload of these and not worry about it. plant 100 for like 8 lb of bud, lol
bahahahahahahahaa.... i love stoner math

heres my shot at it..... dont hate i just hit the bong.

100 x .5oz = 50oz

50oz / 16oz er lb= 3.125 lbs

you would need to average about.... 1.28oz per plant to achieve this yield of 8 lbs

I am currently on my first grow of these, and watched a buddy of mine complete his grow.

these yields are super plausible.

he only grew 8 plants best yielder was a little under 50g but it was a freak compared to the others

id say 1-1.5 oz a plant is entirely achievable

here are two lowryder females i am growing.

same conditions given to both

this shows some of the varience that still imght exist within the strains genetics.

I have the most beautiful, photo-quality LR2 buds you've ever seen...beautiful. The problem is (and my husband & I both agree)...the potency is weak. I mean, we get high, but not what we're used to. Granted, this is our first harvest, but b/c the buds are so f###g gorgeous and huge and stank, I believe it is the breeding and not the way we grew it...hope this helps.
