What is happening to my plants? Please help.

I have two plants growing. I started from seed. One is a Nirvana seeds Short Rider, the other is a Bomb seeds Big Bomb. Both are feminized. But the short rider's lower leaves are like.. drying up. The plant looks pretty healthy other than the two lowest leaves. It is only about 2 and a half weeks old. Iv got it in Fox Far Ocean Forest. water with store bought spring water and rain water. I think i may have been watering them a little much but i have stoped that. I didnt water yesterday and still havent yet today. the very top of the soil is starting to dry out a little.

But the short riders lower leaves seem to be drying kinda i cant really tell. they look kinda wilted. and it looks like there might be some clear dry stuff on one of the leaves. What could this be? what do i need to do?

What lights are you using. If the leaves aren't getting much light the plant will start to kill the lower leaves off to save energy. You are supposed to let the soil dry out for the most part. Your previous over watering can give the leaves a wilted look. The clear stuff could be nitrogen toxicity. Are the leaves really dark green? Pics would probably shed more light on you situation.

No the leaves are not "really" green but are just a little bit dark, not much at all though, may just be normal though. and thats what im doing now is letting the soil dry up a good bit before i water again. I also have had the lights on the sides of the plants about 5 to 8 inches away but now i have moved them all directly above the plants about 2 inches away.

Well i probably have the bigest POS web cam ever but its all i got. but here are some.


See how those bottom leaves are drooping and look wilted.

BTW in the last picture it looks a little yellow, its not really. that was the camera.

Looks like a heat issue to me.

Too hot or too cold? Also keep in mind that iv had them in the grow box for the past 2 weeks and it would stay around 83* degrees now its around 76* degrees in the closet. Could this help? also i think i have been watering a bit too much so im slowing down now.
