what is bananaing?

read some threads saying there buds had bananas so they cut the bud to stop it. what is this, is it good for plant, and should i trim mine . its a bubbalicius 8 wks intoflower. thanks!

when a plant is a hermaphrodite, it will have a yellow looking tongue or banana/nanner sticking out of the bud, that is a sign of it being a he/she

Bananas are pollen sacks showing up in buds. They are generally bad, as you end up with seeded bud. Unless you want seeds, then it could work out; assuming you can prevent the circumstances that triggered it to produce pollen sacks to begin with. Look up hermaphrodites in regards to weed, that's what a female plant with "bananas" is; that should give you an idea of what you're asking about.

Nice pic CHUCK, you dont want bananas! Thats an affirmative that your plant is herming if you see any yellow bananas coming from your buds!

well i think mine are safe, pure females i think. it started happening when i started adding co2. heres some pics, maybe someone can tell

how far along would you say that is? I had a few nanners when I put my ladies under 3 days of no light towards the end, like only a few but still nothing like that!
