In most cases some dried flowers from a field covered with a questionable research chemical, long term effects unknown. I would avoid the stuff like the plague it's not healthy. The better stuff gives you a buzz because it is a chemical you are smoking.

I read somewhere that it is actually cannabis buds that have had the thc removed. But it sounded like B.S. to me.

Cannabis is cannabis its still has other things that get you stoned besides thc.
Cannabis has other mood altering ingredients, it's true. But I'm not at all sure that they would produce much of an effect in the absence of thc. And if they do, is it pleasant? It would be interesting to know. :eyesmoke:

no there is a bunch of other chemical properties going on, to name a few ... cbn, cbd, etc, etc.

If you know, please share. I know I'm not the only one curious about it. :)

when you let the buds flower and you let them go for a long time, the thc degrades to the other stuff I mentioned...thats what gives you the "couchlock" feeling...as opposed to a earlier harvest which gives you the "energetic" high...

different strokes for different folks ;)

Yes, I know that about the couchlock. CBD, CBN, idunnowhatever. But you are not getting that stuff in the absence of thc. It's just that if the bud is overripe, there will be more of the other stuff and less thc. But there is still some thc.

There have been studies done that test the physiological effects of pure thc against the effects of thc mixed with cbd/cbn/idunnowhatever. But I know of no studies that have tested the effects of cbd/cbn/idunnowhatever without thc.

That would be interesting.

My cousin has taken that. Costs an arm and a leg, she says. It helped her pain, but she said that doctors are forbidden to prescribe it for that here.

The research I mentioned also showed that pure thc was likely to have a significantly negative effect on the mind, and that when given with one of the other components of marijuana (cbd/cbn/???), the effect on psychology was not significantly negative. Goes to show what we all know about the government and the pharmaceutical industry, I suppose.
