What if you flowered for over 3 months long?

I just was wondering what would happen if you flowered a plant for over 3 months long, or even longer?

depending on the strain.......White widow will take 12 weeks to flower.

i think you mean will the plants keep getting bigger if you flower longer the answer is no like all fruit it eventley gets Ripe

sativas should take 10-14 weeks. Any longer is prolly overkill. But as NBKA said, it is all strain dependent.

If you want GOOD smoke, You harvest when the TRICHOMES are the correct color, (clear-cloudy-amber-black).
I'm thinking that if you let them go TOO long, they will LOSE potency, and probably rot.
