what would happen if i were to use 6400k lights for flowering instead of changing them

You will still flower OK but the buds wont be as tight and the plants will stretch more then with 2700k bulbs.

Your buds will be more "airy" and in the end when cured they will look like leaves and hairs with not a lot of actual bud. Please make the small investment in lights that are in the 2500K-2800K spectrum.

Soft white is also the same thing as Warm white. These bulbs are somewhere in the 2400K - 2800K range but usually 2700K is the norm.
