What is the fuzziness on the buds called?

it depends

if your plants like you, it's called, "Trichomes."
if your plants hate you, it's called, "Powdery Mildew."

Trichomes! Thats the one! half of my plant hates me but the tops LOVE me!! LOL Thanks Bro

All the lower branches started drying up. I think I over fertilized. The tops look really good for now. it rained 12 inches on Monday. Hope that flushed it good enough?

The "sticky" stuff? Maybe you mean the trichomes, not sure though!

Just be patient the powdery mildew will become Trichomes in due time and your plant will not hate you for it.
