What / how do you clean the inside of your pumps?

We have a flood and drain system going. The try gets an algae growing, as does the roots and the top of the Hugo blocks. No big deal and we clean the equipment thoroughly. But how do you clean the inside of your pump? High pressure? Run a weak bleach solution through it? Or just let it grow inside the pump?:eyesmoke:

use hydrogen peroxidecide. use 15 ml per gallon of watter (over the counter strength). Run it for about 20 minutes then run clean water. If you have root rot you can run this solution through your plants as well as your system. You can also add 5ml per gallon to prevent algae and root rot in the future.

ya in your res and all the time

that is for over the counter hydrogen peroxide
its like 3%
h202 is much stronger
its the same stuff just more concentrated so you use much much less
i just use over the counter to save $
works great. keeps the root rot and slimmy shit from coming back
