What have you "Mcguyvered" into a smoking device?

Well, I was just about to sit down and realized I have no papers or wraps(my smoking preference). I was just wondering what some of you have used to turn into bongs/pipes. Perhaps I have something laying around my house that I had no idea I could use. Show me whatcha got!
 
i once turned a pipe into a bubbler/bong, i put some plastic tubing into the mouth piece end (which was the down stem) and plugged up the carb on the pipe, and sealed the pipe into the side of a cheap plastic vodka bottle, and made a carb on the bottle. I liked it alot more than most homemade bubbs/bongs bc it had a glass bowl :)
 
also i wouldnt necessarily recommend this but back when i was underage and couldnt buy stuff from headshops i made a steam roller out of a paper towel tube, tin foil, and electrical tape. i just cut a square into the paper towel tube, put foil over it, and pushed it a little to make a depression (the bowl) and poked holes w/ a toothpick, and sealed that foil to the tube w/ the tape (the tape never got burned or exposed to smoke- yuck)
 
Pop can is easy as hell if you want it now. I made a bubbler out of a ratchet piece, a Robitussin bottle, and a electrical tape once. It hit really well for a home made piece.

I totally just laughed out loud for real. I pictured you saying this like the Baldwin brother in Half Baked when he was under the car at the mechanics shop. "Alright, get me an avocado, an ice pick, and my snorkel" LOL.
 
Yea pop can is probably the best way to go.... I would scrub the paint off the bowl area prior to use though.

Or an APPLE
 
I can honestly say I've never tried to smoke out of an apple, but everyone always suggests it. Maybe I should give it a try
 
if i am really desperate . i have a bong now, but i used a 2 liter bottle,aluminum can, some tinfoil.

Step one: cut the bottom off the two liter

step two: take a knife and punch a small hole in the cap of the 2 liter

step three: take scissors and cut a rectangle out of the aluminium can, roll up the aluminum into a cone

step five: jam that aluminum cone into the hole in the cap. the tightness will hold the cone and keep it from unwinding. and it will be air tight.

step six : take a 1"x1" square of tinfoil and wrap around a pencil eraser, then push it down into the cone you made. flip the pencil over and poke a few tiny hole in the tinfoil to make a screen.


YOUR DONE YOU NOW HAVE A GOOD GRAVITY
 
I wanted a kinda permanent pipe made out of all metal. I came up slicing a beer can with scissors to get a large piece of aluminum. Rolling that to make a tube. Then wrapping the tube with tinfoil (also bending the tinfoil at the mouth end to avoid the sharp bits) and making whatever bowl you can come up with on the other end. All metal and no sticky tape, ta da! Just make sure to wrap the foil round the whole thing more than a few times and use a bit of cello around it if it feels needed (it won`t see the heat in any way).

You have to leave a bit of excess on the bowl end, say about 3 inches is good, then you keep a cylinder part intact but bend shut the end of the foil. You can now make a depression on the tinfoil cylinder going inwards from the surface area and make some holes in it. Pipe ready!

Also just wrip the foil off, re wrap and use again if the foil gets blocked/mashed up.

Handy recipe for me anyway :D

Nice technique you have there. I can come close with just tinfoil on the bottle without a cap but this seems like a more sturdy and I`m interested.

Can you explain step 6 in better detail? Why do you use a pencil eraser? Are you just talking about the aluminum part without the pencil or the eraser? Why is it necessary and how do you wrap the tinfoil around it?

Is this going towards just making a "watering can head" type aperature in the bowl facing upwards? If you do this don`t you get bits stuck on the sides of this aparature in your conical bowl?

Seriously can`t work it out lol

Anti-G bong

plastic good, can use glass(sobe bottles work nice)

plastic soda bottle-Drill/cut hole in cap, insert bowl(i drilled mine n a metal bowl screwd rt in), cut hole at bottom of bottle, pack bowl, fill bottle with water*wile thumb is covering hole, replace cap then burn and remove thumb, replace wen smoke filled remove bowl and enjoy!

Also notice how I make the bowl with the tinfoil. Wrapped round leaving 2 twists on the sides which you can undo/redo for tightness as required. Whenever blocked twist another one up. 2 layers of foil work best :D

i dont even know how to explain it. you just wrap it(like a condom). put the eraser on the center of the tinfoil and just fold the edges up and then squeeze it to the sides. put it in the cone an then slide the pencil out and you have a tinfoil lining to poke tiny hole and make a screen.
 
I think I understand so its basicly to narrow the hole in the funnel? I do apologise I never tried this before :D
 
Does putting way to much weed into my bubbler count...I mean I made the weed fit...with house hold items. Right? No...I suck.
 
When I was 14 I made a water bong out of a medium sized plastic gatorade bottle and a heavy duty metal pen. Put a little carb on the back side. Used to smoke hella mids outta that thing until I got a glass bowl lol.
