Found this. My buds haven't stopped growing and the new growth IS calyxes with leaves. And foxtails can absolutely involve leaves...
read the things you posted...
"this means it's reverting back to the vegatative state in which the plant only grows stems and leaves"
"while a revegging plant stops growing buds and the ones present turn brown and die"
"because a revegging plant doesn't make new buds"

https://www.growweedeasy.com/foxtails

any leaves growing out of foxtails aren't a function of that condition, and would have grown on their own if the condition wasn't present

if your plant is both foxtailing and revegging, it just means you have more than one stress response going on...there is no up side to this...keep looking if you want to.
i would cut them now and make hash out of them....about the only way your going to get anything worth a shit

Noo... One wouldn't really think marijuana wouldn't be affected by street lights... Those will absolutely cause problems but my tent at night isn't even comparable to a street light. You can see better on a moon lit night than you can in my tent at night. It's pitch black, no light leaks. I've already had a successful grow with the exact same setup as I said before. And moon/star light won't affect plants, that's the point I was trying to make. They've grown and evolved under the moon and stars. My tent is extremely extremely dark. No light. Just saying

Just gonna set this right here. It's close to being done. Like I said, wasn't revegging.

Anyone from the future/Google that's reading this, take EVERYTHING you read from here with a grain of salt. Do some research and googling. Over the last few days of reading I've seen a few people destroy their perfectly healthy beautiful plants because "well known members" on here told them they were hermie/male/whatever. Google is a very helpful tool, have a good day everyone :)

Can you share what has happened since you posted. I am so close to harvest and am now experiencing new vegetation. My first go round indoors and with coco.. Everything has gone so well. Hate to take what I can get out of it, but looks like the writing is on the wall.

I can think of two other things that can cause leafy upper growth like that, but it seems you got it all figured out, i guess you'll know for sure on the next run.

Like I said before.. grain of salt. Smells fire and has been growing fine besides the foxtails (from heat..)

You are correct in that cannabis adjusts to small amounts of light during dark time provided it is consistent. I’ve grown a 7 footer outdoors where a streetlight came on every night, as well as a neighbors porch light. Flowered perfectly, finished in October. Got 8 or 9 z’s if I remember correctly.

But a light leak is usually from not closing the tent properly or a defect.
And it’s definitely possible light from a passive intake, especially if you use the room during lights out.

I get foxtailing from time to time, usually from light being too close and intense.
Based on the look of the leaves, I think there’s some light/heat stress and it’s some kind of mutant foxtail going on, not a reveg. Unfortunately they can both look similar sometimes. Even more unfortunately you’re density will be compromised either way.

there is something wrong with that..."plant"...maybe it wasn't revegging, and you just grow ugly plants...not sure i'd be so smug about growing that^...hard to diagnose a plant that looks like shit...without calling it shit...

I really don't get why, yet again, these "well known members" have to be such assholes to people learning.

Not everybody that visits these forums is a professional growers that knows exactly what they're fuckin doing. We come here to learn. Not be told we grow shit and ugly plants, not to be told to scrap what he have and give up trying to grow. This community is BEYOND TOXIC.

But yes. I'm absolutely going to be smug about this plant. It's better than my first grow and almost everybody on this site that responded to me told me to trash it and start over because it's revegging. WRONG. At the beginning of flower they told me to keep a bagseed I had in there that I was 99% positive was a hermie, I took it down, guess what? Was a hermie. Would've ruined the good females. So yeah, I am gonna be smug about growing this when you people were telling me it wasn't gonna give me shit and saying all this and that
