What do you guys think of my ghetto cloner, built for 0 dollars from junk around my house?

I wasn't going to try cloning on my first grow attempt but something came over me a few days ago and i built a seriously ghetto cloner from a rubber-made tote, an old pc that didn't work anymore, a 140cfm pc fan i had leftover from a pc build, a lamp i broke and took the innards out of, an old black t-shirt, four 1 gallon watter bottles, duct tape and some left over soil from my grow. Basically it's a little tiny grow box with 3 13 watt cfls in it. It holds a steady 75F. I used the t-shirt for filtration and to help keep too much light from coming out of the box. The clones in it are on day 5 and are starting to grow a little bit now. I went into it thinking it was pointless and would end in a total failure but now it's looking like all 4 will survive. All i did to start them was clip them cut off extra leaves and clipped the stem up the middle splitting it in half about 1/2 an inch or so then dipped them in water and rolled them in powdered rooting hormone and stuck them right in ocean forest soil. Sounds like a recipe for failure right?

This is the clones on day 5 now, it's actually working. I used small clipping from the bottom that weren't getting much light. This was intended to just be an experiment that ended in failure. lol

Shit sometimes I just throw a cutting in a cup of water and leave it near a window. Switch the water out daily and you get roots in 3 weeks at most. Yeah it's slow but I don't need clones too often so it works for me.

i use them to line the bottom of my 5 gallon nursery containers, i love em they get the job done.
I just switched from std coco coir to chips and am excited to see what happens. I was going to switch to rockwool and or hydroton but I have coco dialed in so why fuck with it. This should give me the benefits of the other two but same nute schedule.

Keep it from more direct light and they root even faster.

Heck yes.Recycle and reuse. Like we said in the Corps -"Use it up.Wear it out.Make it do".

That's the point because it's shit and it's working great. I didn't pay a dime for it and it's already made me a 80 dollar value witch is repeatable. It doesn't have to be expensive, new, shiny and mass produced to work. That was my whole goal in trying this. It looked hard and it's just not. =)
