What do you find to be the best nutes for seedlings,
Veg Time, Bloom, and Bloom boosters?

I am using GH flora Grow for my seedlings at half strength, and full for the veg, its supposed to be a 3 part system, but I just use the grow formula.

For flowering I use the GH floranovaBloom, its a one part system. I bought a bottle of KOOLBLOOM, but have not had the chance to use it in my current grow....

I am a firm believer in CANNA....been using it for almost 6 years now...NEVER have problems with it...GREEN COAST HYDRO has the best deals on it.....I am how ever gonna try my first run of advanced nutrients in one of my other rooms to see if there is much difference in quality, yield, apperance, and taste...Its all about trials and tribulations my friend:)

find what works for you...everyone has their own preferance so just do what works

Can I get more info on those nuts your using Toke?

Peace

I have used fox farms grow big, tiger bloom, cha-ching, and adv.nute- micro, grow, bloom. Seems like with hydro less=more. It doesnt take much to start seeing brown tips. Like Toke said, find something you like and play around to find best combo.

I use GH's Flora 3 part... but I was thinking of switching for my next grow here soon...

any good ORGANIC nutes good for the DWC??

this is all the parts i use...i use all these exact things for both hydro and coco with no problems

Currently using Botanicaire Pro series 2 part grow and flower nutes... Organics.
PRO grow on my seedling.
Liquid Karma on my clones first 2 weeks of transplant.. Humic acid mostly for the roots early stage.
Kool Bloom latter flower along with my Pro flower.
Just began Supplementing Cal/Mag for deficincies im experiencing due to multiple plants per tub issues.
Just started with the fulvic acid to help my plants with the uptake of the nutes in the tub.
Gonna use clearex to flush this time..
What is sweet?

superthrive and hygrozyme fro cuttings and veg

gh3
botanicare cal/mag
AN hammerhead
occasionally hygrozyme (we haven't noticed any improvement using this product in flower)

this is what you can expect.

kw hps's. these aren't the greatest to show for dwc, they're sog plants. i don't do dwc for the volume of water/nutes anymore, i switched up. however, same nute formula, i was getting 12-15.5 (largest) oz per bucket.

aero/nft homemade hybrid, with high volume pressure sprayers instead of low flow high pressure misters. watering cycle is 15 on 45 off during lights on, 1 hour in the middle of the dark cycle.

i really like the aero for saving nutes; my entire setup uses only 25g, i was using 75g for dwc.

Interesting man.. Im taking it u were sogging in tubs..What kinda ppm's were u running in them? Did u experience any deficincies with multiple plants?

only one, a pesky picky purple. it gets a lockout, all green strains love the system. with additives, ppms range from 1800-2300. i think with just gh it's around 1300-1500. can't remember.

the best part about the formula i use is the ease. ph is stable at 6.0, i never check or alter, ppms are acceptable, i don't even use a tds pen anymore (except to answer questions like yours :p)

and not tubs, tubes; 6'' pvc rails... ;)

most of my old pics are gone, i had a pc issue and lost a ton of info. here's a picture i found of an old dwc grow, just starting to bud...

Wow man Id like to make that last pic my screen saver looks damn near perfect all uniform and stuff. What size tub was that in?Man 1800-2200 ppm with the supplements..interesting. Noticed since i started using the cal/mag theres not much room for the rest of the food..Are u saying its ok to continue feeding at regular food dosages but supplement ur fulvic acid and cal/mag along with it even if the ppm's sky rocket..this has been bothering me..Seems like i just get done with this and im up around 1000..only takes but 180 ml between the other 2 to hit 1400 doesnt seem like enuff.

your base nutes are what compose the ppms; additives are additives. some will argue this point, but with a 2-0-0, it's not going to add much in the way of toxic npk. same with hammerhead, which is a pk 0-9-18 booster (made to be added to an's three part formula; i use gh which is identical, but less expensive).

the plants i grow are healthy buggers, and nute hogs. they love the high dose food. i've had some strains (all berry strains) come to be very picky with this concentration, preferring less.

my advice to you; use your base nutes. add 6ml cal/mag every feeding for veg, 10ml per gallon for flower. cal and mag are bud hardeners, and will give you a more solid flower, with more retained weight after full drying.

Base nutes and 10ml of cal/mag per gallon..Im going to have to play with this. Its funny u mention it cause i didnt even add the KB last change my ppm were already around 1400-1500 with the flower nutes and cal/mag. Wonder if i could bump up to around 1600 with a lil KB and see what happens.Noticed the fulvic acid brings down ph and helps it stay relatively easy to control. Hasnt moved in 3 days.
Exactly how would u put ur nutes ratio if u were using my nutes man. im still new with the nutes and dont fully understand what all these things do and how they benefit my system.

i've tested and tried koolbloom from gh; save your money, and your time. get pk 0-9-18 AN hammerhead. this is a truly awesome ratio, as pot likes a 1,2,3 ratio in flower. hammerhead is what i consider to be my secret ingredient, though it's hard to find now. gh does not even come close to comparing to the pk 9-18. think low nitrogen, medium phosphates, and lots of potassium (the key ingredient to nutrient uptake and transpiration).

drop the fulvic for a grow, and try my recipe. you'll be pleasantly surprised ;). i've studied nutes on pot for 5 years now, my mentor being an ex-employee of advanced nutrients, and highly involved in the general hydroponics brands.
