Ever clear 4oz of decarbed leaf, sugger trim and extra small bud then put in the freezer for 5 to 10 days shaking it 2 times daily how strong would you think it would be I was thinking maybe 4oz per pint there wont be much bud at all just stuff that is really to small to trim

Putting it in the freezer is a great idea. That's how I make my own tincture. The low temp will really help you keep the colour. Anyway, the amount of Cannabis you're using will produce a tincture with a 1:4 herb/menstruum ratio. Personally, I think you can use twice as much herb....or reduce the 1:4 tincture to a 1:2 using a double-boiler. That should give you a nice tincture. But, ultimately, that will depend on how much resin is put in the jar. Good luck.

I think it will continue to get stronger with non targeted elements, but you should already have dissolved the trichomes heads. I suggest checking it with a 100X microscope for intact heads.

How much would you use for the whole 5th of ever clear I would like to have something that is really good and strong so it will last me a long time because I only grow once a year outside I don't have a indoor setup

Strength and weight:volume ratio (1:2, 1:4, etc) are different concepts that do certainly overlap. A 1:1 (w:v) uses twice as plant plant material as a 1:2. Therefore, you can generally expect a 1:1 to be stronger than a 1:2. However, if you use crap herb or mess up the process of extraction, your w:v ratio doesn't change...but, your strength/potency will.

I usually make my Cannabis tincture at a dried 1:1 w:v ratio (technically, a 1:1 also goes by the term Fluid Extract). So, that means that 1 g of dried plant material is represented in every 1 ml of extract. A 1:2 would represent 1 g of material in 2 ml of extract, a 1:4 represents 1 g of material in 4 ml of extract, and so forth.

You could make a 'saturated tincture' in a mason jar...using double-maceration (or even a triple maceration). This is where you put your ethanol in a large jar and add enough ground plant material, to the point where none of the plant matter is exposed. Leave a couple of inches of ethanol on top. Put it in the freezer and shake just as you outlined. Then, after a week, filter your extract and start the process again, this time using your extract as your starting solvent. The only thing I would suggest is that you keep track of the number of grams of material you extract and the number of ml of solvent. This will give you your final 'weight to volume ratio (using double-maceration)' for future reference.

Good luck.

Sorry. I apologise. It's really just the equivalent of making a cup of tea using 1 bag, squeezing out that bag when you're done...and then adding a second bag. The outcome is a 'stronger' cup of tea.

You only have 2 limitations in reaching maximum concentration of your tincture (beyond how much trim you have)....

#1 - There is a limit to how much plant material you can physically cover in a jar with the amount of alcohol you have on hand. This is why double- and triple-maceration is used to extract plant medicines.

#2 - The second limit is how much resin your ethanol can physically hold in solution. How much is that? I have no idea. But, this limitation doesn't seem relevant here either. I mean, unless you're dropping a kilo of kief into ethanol, you're not going to reach its saturation point.

Again...you can make your tincture as strong as you like (subject to the limits above), using the multi-phase maceration technique I described in my earlier comment. Just rinse and repeat until it's strong enough for you. I extract at a 1:1 ratio (1 g per 1 ml). But, how strong can you get your extract? Until you reach the point of solvent saturation, it's up to you.
