it's jibberish i posted to satire the quest for yield prediction, my serious reply was further down lol
Huh?I think you looked up the wrong one mines not a mars its galxyhydro and it does have green yellow and deep red. I also have a 24w deep red flowering led bulb on it as well. I know its not a awesome light by any means but ive seen grow journals on this cery site with people using the exact same light getting the same yields as 250w hps.
Oooo someone's touchy time of the month eh?Bc i have 2 of them so that makes things a little different huh?
The actual wattage of the Galaxyhydro 300w is 145 watts. Under two of them you've probably got around 75 par watts. What you can do with those par watts would be a guess. Grams per par watt in soil will vary between 0 for complete fail and 3.5 in soil for a master ninja grower.Okay i know this is a crazy ass topic on this site but at this point i really dont know anymore what i have and what is it capable of producing in grams. Can someone who knows wtf their talking about help me pls. I have 2 galaxyhydro 300 watt lights. Now i know thats not true watts and all that but i keep hearing different things. Basically i dont care about watts i care about what i can get off these. There both under 1 plant.
The Galaxy Hydro 300W lights have two 45W LED drivers in them. So true watts at the lights is 90W. Actual draw at the wall is a bit more due to driver efficiency and the fan power. I would use the 90W at the diodes for your expectations. So you have 180W of LED light. Most new growers will get .5-.7g per watt. I would say you can expect to pull about 100g maybe more, if you do well.Okay i know this is a crazy ass topic on this site but at this point i really dont know anymore what i have and what is it capable of producing in grams. As for those saying its crap light, well, many of us began with these sorts of lights - just plan on upgrading in the future. I would suggest looking into strip lights from Samsung (F series) or Bridgelux (EB series), its wicked easy to make your own custom light using them. The Galaxy Hydro 300W lights have two 45W LED drivers in them. Wow really. I pulled the 145w number from Amazon. There's no way the fans and drivers use 55w so either there are different versions of the same lamp floating around or there is bad info at Amazon. The Galaxy Hydro 300W lights have two 45W LED drivers in them. I opened mine up to see what's inside. Two CC drivers, 500 mA, 90VDC.Wow really. I pulled the 145w number from Amazon. There's no way the fans and drivers use 55w so either there are different versions of the same lamp floating around or there is bad info at Amazon.
