I think you looked up the wrong one mines not a mars its galxyhydro and it does have green yellow and deep red. I also have a 24w deep red flowering led bulb on it as well. I know its not a awesome light by any means but ive seen grow journals on this cery site with people using the exact same light getting the same yields as 250w hps.
Huh?

The one in the link in my post is a galaxyhydro

Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if Marshydro and Galaxyhydro are one and the same.

And if you have seen journals that say they got same yield as 250w hps why post this thread lol

So, back to the illustrious question are you jimmy from GOODF?

Bc i have 2 of them so that makes things a little different huh? Let me ask you something. Did you start out growing knowing every thing already? Are you so fuckin bored in life you have nothing better to do then talk shit to newbies online? Sorry i was confused my first mistake was getting on here and listening to know it alls like you telling me 5 different things from 5 different people. Btw no im not jimmy from goodf im the jimmy that slayed youre mom last night

Oooo someone's touchy time of the month eh?

It's not my fault that you Failed to do your research and ended up with some crappy lights, cmon Jimmy me ole mucker lighten up lol.

And here's a thought, why didn't you just multiply the figure by... I dunno say 2 as in then it should surely be equivalent to a 500w eh, just a thought mind.

And yeah sure I was a noob once upon a time, the problem was, we didn't have the internet in them thar days, so unfortunately what we had to do was read a book and go and test things out there in the "real world" rather than all this wonderful spoon feeding which you spoilt kids get to enjoy.

I wouldn't say I am a know it all that tells you 5 different things (personally I thought I was being rather consistent), rather you are too darn lazy to even google it for an answer as to the spec of your own light, and then want to spit your dummy out and whine like an ungrateful cry baby, when folk here are actually spoon feeding you the answers/info

Dear oh Dear kids today, what is the world coming too:eyesmoke:

Okay i know this is a crazy ass topic on this site but at this point i really dont know anymore what i have and what is it capable of producing in grams. Can someone who knows wtf their talking about help me pls. I have 2 galaxyhydro 300 watt lights. Now i know thats not true watts and all that but i keep hearing different things. Basically i dont care about watts i care about what i can get off these. There both under 1 plant.
The actual wattage of the Galaxyhydro 300w is 145 watts. Under two of them you've probably got around 75 par watts. What you can do with those par watts would be a guess. Grams per par watt in soil will vary between 0 for complete fail and 3.5 in soil for a master ninja grower.

The Galaxy Hydro 300W lights have two 45W LED drivers in them. So true watts at the lights is 90W. Actual draw at the wall is a bit more due to driver efficiency and the fan power. I would use the 90W at the diodes for your expectations. So you have 180W of LED light. Most new growers will get .5-.7g per watt. I would say you can expect to pull about 100g maybe more, if you do well.

As for those saying its crap light, well, many of us began with these sorts of lights - just plan on upgrading in the future. I would suggest looking into strip lights from Samsung (F series) or Bridgelux (EB series), its wicked easy to make your own custom light using them.

Wow really. I pulled the 145w number from Amazon. There's no way the fans and drivers use 55w so either there are different versions of the same lamp floating around or there is bad info at Amazon.

I opened mine up to see what's inside. Two CC drivers, 500 mA, 90VDC.

Edit: Just opened it up to double check - there are in fact, THREE 45W LED drivers inside, not two. Plus one 12V fan driver. Not sure why I was thinking there were only two drivers....

Okay so 145 watt actual, 3 fans so that's 6 watts, down to 139. Driver efficiency is maybe 85% so that gives us 118 output watts. X2 for two units is 236 output watts. Gotta speculate but I'll guess efficiency is around 25% so 60 par watts maybe a bit more. What he does with those 60 par watts would only be a guess but it is just on the low side of a 250w HPS assuming a 250w bulb is 28% efficient and providing 70 par watts... so your guess of around 100g is probably close. I would bet on it but 3 zips wouldn't be surprising.

Firstly, it depends on the strain.
Secondly, it depends on the grower skill.
Thirdly, indoors, it depends on the lights.

I see here 2-3ounces in soil.
