three cookies autoflowers by ethos
9wk from sprout. 6wk into flowering.
growing in ffof under an 800W LED
3gal fabric pots.

i took some pics and there are almost no trichomes left empty right now. the bottom buds could go longer but these main colas are at their peak amount of THC it seems!

i prefer a more heady high over feeling fucked up. anywho, what do you djentlemen think? like i said, three total.

i believe the one in the back has a nutrient lockout of some sort. but she’s doing great still. these are freebies so i just LST and feed them lol. not much effort.

if you ask the pistils, these plants aren’t fully matured. and i’m losing weight if i cut now. but the trichomes tell me they’re only going to degrade from here… so choose wisely and no ragrets9868AF1F-AB30-4739-98F9-E6E88A6EA4DA.jpeg15DDF9DB-C55A-4487-9119-2097BFF33806.jpeg

Ignore the trichomes. Those are not close to ready. Trichomes are a poor method for determining if a plant is ready. Maybe under natural conditions but today there are factors which will cause the trichomes to color. High intensity LEDs, some nutrient additives can both cause trichomes to color up well before the plant is ready for harvest.

Those white pistils still show that they have some swelling to do. I’d wait. It’s way too early. At least that’s how I would go about it. I check trichomes usually.. but not until I’m at least at week 8 (earliest), but I have waited til week 10 to even bother due to the pistil action at the time.

yeah that’s what’s fucking me up lol i know they have more weight to pack on. and a lot of my plants usually have two swells! this plant hasn’t even started closing up the calyx or anything.
