What do I do now?

So.... I just wasted a lot of time and resources on a plant that is showing definite signs of being a male. From what I understand, the male plant is pretty much useless for anything other than breeding. Any ideas on what I can do with it? I've currently started my second attempt at growing, and I think it would be a shame to let the male plant go to waste. I am not interested in breeding, but any other ideas would be very much appreciated!

If you only had 1 seed , let it grow, there will still be some thc ,, on the leaves,
You could also grow it to maturity , save the pollen ( in case someday you want to try breeding ) and make brownies or cookies with the leaves or smoke em
But if you have other seeds , toss the male and start over,, it sucks but its part of the game

Next time start 4 seeds. If u do u will be giving yourself a fifty-fifty chance of getting two fems. Then u can either grow both or pick the one that looks best and grow it out.

IFYOU ARE GOING TO DO ANYTHING BUT KILL IT...YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE IT IS COMPLETELY SEPERATED FROM YOUR GARDEN!

You will need to go to seemingly very drastic means to protect your new plants. A single spore is all that is needed for proliferation. If it were me, I would even go as far as not going near it unless in my Bday suit and showered before going to my main garden. A sac can mature and open VERY quickly. Once the pollen spore hits the bud it is all over and you have a seeded plant my friend.

So, aside from breeding, I say KILL IT, HACK IT, SLAUGHTER IT!!! DO IT NOW!!!!!

Oh and btw...find a strain you like from a reputable seed bank and buy feminized seeds...Still no guarantee but I have never had a problem with males doing it that way.

Ahh it's always a big let down when you've a boy, personally I love my little princess.

As the guys said, try your hand on LST & a few other techniques.
You've a brilliant way to learn right there & if it goes bad it's no real loss.

When you chop her, keep the top leaves & a little stem.
Bag it & freeze it as you would with trim.
Keep it until you've trim from your next grow, then use this to make bubble hash.
(Nature wastes nothing, why should we)

You can use feminised seeds to be sure you'll get a girl in future but they are a little more expensive & you'd be better going to a real good seed bank (some could be herm)

But what ever you decide to do, don't let this put you off.

I've never smoked the male plant leaves.
Granted, when I'm trimming the bud, a little usually goes through, but I have kept the make foliage to add with trim to make bubble hash.

Have you ever actually smoked the leaves? I know a little THC is present, but I've never blew my boys, just my girls. Haha

It's basically useless, just throw it out and start over. It's best to grow 2 plants to increase the odds of getting a female....

Check out my new little Pict there. I just had to trim really was shading a lot of that new growth. I call her LA gorda.
