What do gays really want?

it doesnt happen because the whole point of youth camping is bonding with their peers.

*sigh* so the answer is "no". i thought it was obvious.

dude brings up A LOT of good points and most of you fear addressing them.

i love it.

:peace:

a LOT of people think this way. it appears most of you fear addressing it and simply push it aside as hate. it's still there though.

you can't pick and chose which points you want to address. you have to hold to your side and debate (as an adult) your argument.

schools have "field trips" all the time. i have sent my son on many. i never sat down and met with all the other parents. there were some i knew, but not ALL of them. i guess i'm irresponsible.

Just curious:

How many people would let their 13 year old son go on a weekend camping trip with two gay men as their chaperons?

Of those who answer yes, would you also let your blossoming 13 year old daughter do likewise if the two men were straight? What if you found out they would be sharing tents?
If I had a daughter, I'd let her camp with my two best friends. If I had two gay friends that I knew as well as my friends, and they were such trustworthy and decent people, then yeah, I would let my son go. My kid camping with people that I don't know REALLY well (gay or straight)... nope.

not sure how i'm dodging and cherry-picking points of argument simply by answering his questions honestly. get back to me on that, k?

so i presume your kids are chaperoned by groups of adults, at least one of which you do know?

just another parent. may or may not have met them. pretty much how it works.

some of my previous statements were generalized. if they don't apply to you you need not address them. :)

"K"? ... who the fuck really says that? do you *shrug* as well? lol

what about boy scouts? would you have to know them all really well or at least one? i mean if a kids being chapperoned by like 6 adults, you're going to be really busy getting to know people, right?

its good etiquite to break your different addessing statements with quotes then.

or perhaps

@fddtblk: it just helps avoid these misunderstandings.

or you could simply get the fact that you didn't make the statement so there is no need to respond to the reply. if i say something and it doesn't apply to you why would you respond to it? do you need me to tell you it's not about you?

do i really have to explain everything, again? this is getting really old. you all think you're so brilliant, yet you can't understand a simple post. i barely write more than a couple of sentences. i refuse to go meth on a post and start tearing apart each sentence with different colored responses. that's not how you have a discussion.

They hide in the dark.

I can easily get them to speak up in person. If I'm on a bus I just shout out.... "hey, how bout those F'king gays huh?"

The ones who don't cringe are the ones.

if gays didn't spend all their time hitting on straight guys, trying to recruit my son, and having anal without lube 24/7 maybe i could get along with them.

Depends on how well I knew the gay men and our relationship at that point. Say my two best friends were gay lovers, two dudes I've known my entire life - yes, without question I would let my 13 year old kid accompany them on a camping trip. How bout two gay guys I'd just met that day? No. But because they're gay? Absolutely not, it would be because I wouldn't know them.

Exact same thing with my 13 year old daughter, depends completely on the two men and our relationship with one another.

How bout you, same two questions, I'm just curious.
