Very true. A gay person does not a liberal make. Most of my gay friends are more conservative then me. The ONLY reason they tend to vote democrat is because of the scary hateful message that comes from the right. Why vote for someone who thinks it is fine to treat you like a second class citizen?

Number one: I didn't "get rid" of the picture. Your guess as to what happend to it is as good as mine. I don't have a clue.

Number two: Its true ... I've had a lot of GAY friends over the years, and with the exception of two, they are all dead. One is HIV positive and the other is clean. The one who is clean is in his 80s now, and attributes his longivity to the fact that he has been celebit and out of the bar scene for over 30 years now.

Number three: I don't hate Gays. In fact, I hate no one. If those pictures offended you, or illustratred the rammifications of the Gay life style for you, then somehow frightened you, then that's your problem, not mine. So, if you, or anyone else, wants to promote the Gay lifestyle as something sophisticated, artsy, wonderful, or anything else ... perhaps its time to wake up to reality. Most Gay men end up alone and as lonely old men ... if they survive, that is.

At the very least, you might want to do some introverted thinking and think about why your response was a personal attack on me. I was only the messenger, my friend. :hump:

Sorry, but I do not believe you. I know what I saw. I am guessing you may have thought you would get a -Rep or sanction so you replaced it with something that was not as appalling and horrifying.

The illustrated "ramifications" of the "gay lifestyle" you posted were repugnant. To imply that your average everyday gay person frequently gets these horrible diseases is false and you know it. The fact that these people were most likely gay and sick is just unfortunate; not indicative of someone "getting what they deserve." Straight people get aids too. It is horrible no matter who gets it.

I, nor anyone I know, promote the "gay lifestyle" as something hip, artsy, cool, or whatever. If this is happening at all, it is an image that is being portrayed by the mostly straight media. We do not promote a god damn thing. Almost all gays only want to fit in and nothing more. Finally, I know many gay couples who have been together years. They are not dying lonely.

What is the argument here? That homosexual men are more susceptible to STD's than heterosexual men? There are certain STD's that are more common amongst heterosexual couples (genital herpes) and there are those that are more common amongst homosexual couples (anal warts).

How would two monogamous homosexual people contract an STD?

Or are you implying that homosexual people are less monogamous than heterosexual people?

In my view of life, there are things we do that bring us happiness and fulfillment and things we do that bring us pleasure, but ultimately bring sorrow. I, like you, see the gay lifestyle as being in the latter category.

I am sure there are gays who are happy being gay, but a distinction should be made between those no longer living "the gay lifestyle" and those promoting it.

Liberals, such as the ones posting here, do not understand our view of the world. They can not understand the subtle differences between seeking pleasure and seeking happiness and they can not comprehend how we could make these observations based on objectivity.

To them, all of life is dogma and all opinions contrary to their own are simply hateful. That is the great Liberal cop-out. Never address an issue, just call the person making the argument a racist, bigot, homophobe, xenophobe or Islamophobe. That way you dismiss their argument with out having to even consider it.
