What did you accomplish today?

If you want to get technical and can find the gear design specs, there is a way to measure wear of the gear teeth profile. I have used gage pins, gage balls and gear patterns using red lead to evaluate gear profile and can help if needed. Otherwise I would go with the best the budget allows.

As to cool jumps, yeah it will damage you and your shit and rattle your cage. There is a 64 impala and a 68 olds in my list of destroyed cars due to catching some air! Ah the young with no brains or sense. Rolling them can make the engine literally fallout.
 
Mailman texted me he’ll be at the mailboxes soon. Stoked! I don’t have to go to town post office to pick up oversize amazon boxes. I met him got home and opened up all the Xmas packages. Mother fucker if the shop(or Amazon)i ordered the rear axle bearings + seals(why not right) sent me some shit for a ford fuck me. So moved onto the dif. I had the rear hubs ready to do that, chill and play golf in the morning. Start with the rearend on sunday/monday.
So i started on the rearend. Got the new bearings pressed onto the g80. Fucking with the pinion right now. Was one fucking bearing on the pinion of course but gotta replace it all while you’re in there. You don’t wanna be back in there setting shit up again imo.

I used to have one. This is not my first time but still accumulating tools. Dude what sucks is when we were going through by brothers shit he had that socket. I have a 36mm and other random big ones from wrenching so far. I called my other brother and he said he got it, from our brother lol.
We both, as his brothers, we had dibs on a bunch of shit but i did not choose to grab any of his sockets and shit
 
Lady Napsalot left Thursday to visit her sister in Vernonia so I've been reverting to bachelor mode for the last couple of days

Pretty much all the leftovers in the fridge are gone, which is good

I'm going up tomorrow for my BIL's birthday- our pet birds are going to have to spend a day and a night in their cages
