What deficiency does this look like

just dont remind me that its made by monsanto

<div>Our low heat capacity drying method provides a natural, easy to use humic concentrate with a high bio-stimulation effect. Ful-Humix is an inexpensive plant and soil activator that increases cellular activities at all levels, increases availability of nutrients, converts raw organic matter faster and detoxifies plant cells. In the root system Ful-Humix reduces the uptake of sodium, aluminum and other metals that negatively effect plants. Ful-Humix will also buffer the soil with organic biopolymers, thus preventing tie up of nutrients and trace elements.
I never asked "why"!
It does work.
It works FAR, FAR better in use with soil applications and even better with organic feeding!

READ the parts of your post in CAPS.......

i know it probably works better in soil. but its supposed to be good to add as a 5-1 ratios with kelp. and its been keeping my ph very stable.

dr.who did you see my pic of the whole pant. i know its not the best photo but can you tell me anything by looking at it?!?

I did NOT say it isn't for other media applications.

I'm almost 59.
I've been growing Cannabis for almost 44 years.
I grew up on a farm
I now own and run the original grandparents farm.
I went to college to learn Agronomy and Horticulture.
I've run greenhouse's
I've run massive yew farms for a drug company.
I have been in the growing industry all my life.

Info questions?
Same here except in my early 60s'. I started growing weed in 1972 and grew up in the wild hemp fields of northwestern Indiana.
Row cropped 200 acres for 35 years before I retired and cash rented the farm ground out.

did the picture i added look good? can you tell anything by looking at it??
YES..
OK, here we go!

You do not have any N tox!

I see "no" to only very minor Ca def.....

My solution stands.....ADD a Ca/Mg product at the rate of 5ml per gallon...

"Pounding" *LIKE* button!

LOL, good ol' Indiana ditch! Wish I had a buck for everytime I drove through and had people look out the window and say, "Damn! Pull over, that's weed! Lets pick some! LMFAO.....Nope! That's dirt!

Yes, and back then every thing was grown outside, so all our good bud was pollinated from the wild hemp plants. I still have relatives that grow in that area.

i mix the cns17 about 20ml a gallon, then i add a little extra ammoniacal nitrogen. a little bit of kelp. about a 5-1 ratio of bioag to kelp. i dont add the bioag every day or the kelp. but i do add the cns 17 EVERY day. the cns17 is the coco formula so it has a little extra calcium. i havnt changed my res is quite a while about 4 months. they eat and drink at about the same ratio. theres aminos is the b-1. sometimes i add some potassium, and some sulphur. then once or twice a week i add some calmag. it wasnt untill i added the calmag that i started seeing issues
You really need to be changing that res more often!
If you simply add back at the 100% mix rate you started with. You can get problems and imbalances.

Old school, easy peasy rule of thumb for add back/keeping res topped off, and dumping and refilling time...

33% add back rule.

Fill res with 100% feed solution and RECORD amount used.

Mix 1 gallon of 100% feed solution as you usually do. Add 2 gallons of straight water to it and pH. You now have 33% top off juice.

Use this 33% solution to top off your res.

Top off your res and keep track of how much you add back.
When the amount you are going to add back at some point, equals the amount you originally filled the res with.
DUMP and refill the res with 100% feed and repeat as needed.

This may go a long way in helping you out in the long run..

You know, I've never in all my years actually seen a Ca tox. ! Bet it looks like a fairly severe pH problem!

it's hard to do...in a way!

Add the Ca! That 5 ml per (over what you have now) will not hurt!
I grew with the cns-17 for years with my well water that has almost 300 ppm of calcium carbonate in it and grew without much problems, I ran the cns-17 soil and coco bloom formula from start to finish at 7 ml. per gallon.

no i dont add back 100% strength i just add back to the fresh water i add. i add about 30 gallons of water a day. i add nutes to that, my ppm dont change much

okay i have another picture for you, this is the progression of the deficiency. something tells me this is phosphorus? its almost too green to be a mag def?!?!

The twisting at the ends of the leaves looks like the start of a P problem to the plant.

right now im at about 12 ml per gallon, it gets me to about 750, i add a few other things too but maybe i should up the nute strength.

I'm really leaning to not changing the res enough.....Things happen between the plant and the water and whats in it, that tend to fuck things up in time..4 months is seriously long! I've done 2 and found that changing more was far better for the plant and it's end result/yield/quality..

"My" first move would be to dump and refill with fresh feed solution! Seriously!
You get build ups of some things by running that res so long that you get blocking starting by things blocking other things or getting reactions chemically....That looks to be that issue - not a "lack of," but something interfering with up-take....NOT pH either...

Neither of those first things are a real "problem" Budley. The leaves are reacting to lighting conditions as the plant reacts to them.
Blotchy? I would need pics and complete lists of what you were adding and how much.
I would also need to know the water source.
If it was not RO,,,,personally, if over 150 ppm out of the source. I wouldn't use it.
I don't think I have any pics of that but I'll have a look, it was two years ago. Thing is I don't have the infastructer to run RO in the shed or running water for that matter so I had to adapt and by using Vitanimo and possibly hydroguard it went away. Yes my water is 250 and lots of calcium chloride I believe but I'll check that as well. Just got a super duper water test suitcase at work. Just need to learn how to use it lol.
