What could cause longer flowering periods

Im using my samsung sensor with an aplication developed by a riu user , i tested the manufacturer results at the distance they provide and results are similar . Im not inventing this theres a lot of articles saying the ideal ppdf is 900 not more , also i found many articles saying to much ppfd CAN delay flowering, and indeed my plants are showing me that , the only one reciving less then 900 ppfd is the only one with all the pistils brown
Cell phone sensors are unreliable at best, and they are not able to measure PAR accurately. They will attempt to measure LUX, and then use a math formula to convert it to PAR.

What lights are you running, and how far from the plants are they? I highly doubt that excessive ppfd is your issue.

Im gonna say regardless of what documents u are refering , that in past i microwaved dozens of flower with the steam vapour microwave method and i got high. Also if u do a quick search here on riu u have many testemonials of people having the same experience as i .
use the popcorn setting then 2 mins on defrost

1.Most plants take weeks longer then breeders claim.

2. Biologically flowering begins when the flowers start to form.

3.Any environmental issues can delay flowering.

4. Yes you can grow a plant that doesn’t have potency. Genetics are the biggest key to quality.

5. No matter what the breeder says a plant is not done until it is fully ripe. Harvesting before it is fully ripe will reduce yield, and quality.

Are you spraying with h2o2? It happened to me. I was spraying in flower, and it had a nice smell and aroma, but no potency.

You were convinced on your first run that the lights were too close and ruined your plants. You didn't let them finish and binned them.

You ran them super close again and are now freaking out about the same exact thing.

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Please seek professional mental help.

i didnt do the same thing by an accident had to run 2 diferent strain , one outgrow the other , lsd are at the right distance , dont need to be harsh

I refuse to run a trellis when running seed runs, once you’ve had a hermie and your whole room was pollinated you’d understand
I agree with that. I just did my first run with a trellis instead of stakes and I totally regret it. I have 9 different plants all doing 9 different things and I can only reach the ones in front. I have no idea what's going on in that back row as far as herms or whatnot. I'm at over 10 weeks of flowering now and of course the plants in the back row are ready to chop but the front girls could use another week or so.

@Skyhound Dude, you know you're arguing with people who grow successfully beyond your wildest dreams, right?

The best thing you can do right now is follow the advice of the Homebrew folks (and the folks on this forum that have already advised you) , "relax, don't worry, have a homebrew."

Nothing you do at this point will make them mature any faster. Anything you do at this point is likely to do more harm than good.

Kick back, relax, let them do their thing.

If it isnt the lights what could be , everything is in place
Genetics and letting the plants finish properly are the biggest keys to potency.

Keeping your plant growing healthy is pretty much the rest of it. If your lights aren’t physically bleaching or burning your buds and your temps aren’t super high then it’s not your lights causing your issues.

This is now day 4 of week 11 . Breeder says 9 weeks , i added 2 more weeks , the problem is that i still have white pistils (plenty in one of the genetics few in the other) on day 74 after flip and most thricomes are clear few milky and 0 amber . I also tested for potency and pontecy is 0 . What is going wrong with my grow !?

This is the aspect from 3 days ago , still almost the same aspect, of the 2 genetics :

White widow

What is making them take so long , also worthy mentioning the white widow is bigger and getting more then 1000ppfd , while the lsd is getting the correct amount of ppfd , about 900 . But both dont get me high at this current stage :(
I had some grows may have been too long and eventually found I had a sticky timer. Even though it's digital it acts like it's spring loaded so I think maybe it is. Turns off about 20-30 mins later than it's set for. So I was giving 12hr+20mins liht. Maybe that did something. Just thought I'd throw that out there cuz I'm usually not around when they turn on/off. Check your timers and check them with a load on them.

The lights might be a little close, but not to a point that it's gonna majorly fuck anything up. The specs for the light say it's 165watts spread over 560 diodes, which isn't a ton of light.
