as title says, this happens to some, dissappears sometimes before the age of 7th node topping, sometimes after however i'd like to figure out what it is and cure it at the earliest age possible. i have good things going and things going good and don't want nothing to fuck it up. LOL. here's some pics. purple urple and space queen. couple healthy girls there too. some end up like that. some end up like the other. wtf am i doing. LOL.

My plant is a 100% 3 leaved this was due to a low light area and bad drainage. I moved her
and She doing better but the leaves are all totally 3 fingered still! Even the newest ones
I've come to learn that this is usally a stress related problem
but there is a small chancE it's the genetics but that's doubtful

i've had plants have 5 and 7 blades and get close to flowering (or maybe just starting the 12/12 cycle) and then when clones are took they tend to try to reveg somewhat (its like they starting the leaves over from seed). Not saying this is your case but just some food for thought.

I have some black domina plants that do the same thing....after they were topped, they started producing 3-fingered leaves....a couple of nodes later they were producing 5-finger leaves, and finally started producing 7's. No adverse effects...doesn't seem to be a big deal.

Newbie opinion....mileage may vary.

This is very natural for a plant

As a seedling you start with the round simples... Then you get one points... Three points... As you move to 5-7 points, you'll notice if you top the plants, many will start to produce 3 points again. I've even seen some come out funky with even sets, like 2, 4, 6, 8 pt leaves after topping. The bud comes out potent as every tho, so it has nothing to do with final product.

thanks everybody, that's a relief. yes, these could have very well been tops and not just cuttings from a mother.
