What caused this damage? Fan leaves are yellow or gold

I'm new to this site and want to say hello to everyone. I thought I could do this on my own without much trouble. Maybe you can help me out. First here is my set-up. I grow in fox farms ocean forest soil. My plants are now in the 3rd week of flowering under 400w hps. My space is 2 1/2 feet wide 4 feet long and 6 feet high. I have a 6 inch inductor fan about 1 1/2 feet from the floor bringing in fresh air from the outside and a 4" exaust about 6" from the top. I have a small fan inside as well the keep the air moving. PH is 7.0 to 6.8 the temp is 65 at night and at the most 82 for the 12 hrs of lighting. I use bottled spring water and adjust the ph before use. I have added nutes only twice. I used MG all purpose at one forth the recommended strength. Please view pics and give me some advise as to fix my problem. On two of my three babies the fan leaves have yellow or gold places on them and the stems are a shade of purple. Thanks in advance!:blsmoke:

1. How close is your light to the plants?

2. Why Miracle Grow? There are much better options.

3. What are you using to adjust PH? Your PH levels are fine for soil growing.

Your set up sounds a lot like mine. Same size almost.

Classic Nitrogen deficiency. Fertilise with a N-P-K fertiliser. It could be leaf burn, but highly unlikely.

I've used MG at 1/3 strength with no serious problems, and every time I watered! If I didn't use such crappy lighting my first time out I may have gotten some smoke!But-- my Fox Farm is on the way. There must be a reason everyone here loves it! Some of those yellow spots may be water left on the leaves? ( first set ). The plants look healthy, but yellow like in the second and third pics seems like a a lack of nitrogen, IMHO.

Why have you only added nutes twice?
Because this is my first grow I'd rather use as few chemical nutes as possible and use more of an organic style grow. I added worm castings to my fox farms soil when I put them in the 3 gal. pots so I also hoped that would be enough. I have some Advanced Nutrients Revive on the way so maybe that will help. To answer the other question my light is about 18 inches above the tallest plant.

in my own opinion they do look really good - i had a few leafs show this, not as much as yours but just a little, and it was because of my HPS, i moved it up and all goes well. not saying thats why but, thats what happened to me, and my leafs looked the same. again it was minimal when i caught it. try running a fan on your hps to eliminate any certain spots where it's hotter than the rest
