Hey peeps

Im about to build a cabinet or growbox for my S&P TD 160/100mm 160m3/h fan and my 100mm/250mm 175m3/h filter.

What would be a good size for my cabinet? I have read that it is ideal to exchange all the air every 3 to 5 minutes. Heat shouldn't be a problem, as im using leds. Just concerned about adequate air supply and odor control. But im an idiot when it comes to calculating, especially when converting cfm to m3/h etc..

So basically, could someone please help me to figure out what would be an ideal size cabinet for this fan and filter combo? preferably in m3 if possible.

The fan can also be adjusted to 130m3/h, which it is at right now. What area could I work with at this setting? as its quieter at this setting.

Thanks a lot! and have a good day!

u evil bastard ......made me sober up to do this

ok
u are not USA so u are using the metric system

.your fan move 130 meters of air a hour
so usa time
1 m is 3.28 feet in case u are ever in trivia show now u know
so that is 426.5 ft .....not there yet
now we need mins so 426.5/60 is 7.1 feet a min

ideally u want to cycle the air out of your area once every 5 mins so 35.5 feet or in your building terms 10.82 meters
your area can only be total volume of 10.82 meters u get that by working out the WxLxH.......your looking at a pretty big one safely

so u can go up to a 2.13m X 2.13m X 2.13m and still be 9.71m volume so u would be cycling all the air out about every 4 mins 30 secs 40 secs rough math

u owe me a stone-dom ....good luck
