I smoke Purple Haze many years ago in Amsterdam and did not like it. It was too racey and paranoia inducing for my taste. At that time I found White Widow to be my favorite smoke, for point of reference.
What are your top 5 favorite TASTING strains?

Delicious Seeds Critical Jack is the tastiest bud I have ever smoked. It's a very piney, spicy, hashy taste and truly is delicious.
After this I would say Orange Bud by Dutch Passion and
Super Lemon Haze by GHS

nice, i just cracked some chocolope kush fem'ed seeds from dna for my current grow.. never grew plain old chocolope before, only chocolate rain which i really loved..
i love me some purple haze.. used to get it all the time and was pretty much the reason i started growing as i was paying a premium for it to say the least..
very up high to it.. very motivational ime.. nothing was safe from me cleaning when i smoked some purple haze..

I'd say germ them, someone said they were bunk seeds that the tude gave away. Worst that can happen is they dont germ. That pack should have FOG in it along with southern lights and brainstorm haze. All should take between 10-12 weeks 12/12. i got the seeds from seaofseeds.com, i wouldnt trust attitudes seed stock as they tend to be old, delta 9 labs has alot of good sfv og hybrids, my fav strains of theirs are the brainstorm haze, fruit of the gods, merkabah and aiea. If the seeds are fresh then the quality should be up there with tga, paradise, delicious. Not the most uniform plants(except the aiea and merkabah, very uniform from the afghani male) but the fruit of the gods is in my top 10 smokes, seems like a nice mix of old school genetics. Really good yield as far as i can tell. Got their mekong haze about 10 weeks in flower, 5-8 weeks remaining.... rediculous stretch on this strain.

Is the chocolate rain related to Chocolope? Out of my 4 recent strains, the Chocolope was the biggest and stinkiest. I'm not that great at "tasting" weed, and have trouble picking up a lot of the flavors that people rave about on these boards. That said, I recently picked up a new vaporizer, and even the Chocolope (with only 10 days cure) tastes awesome. I don't know if I can taste chocolate, per se, but it definitely has a distinct smell and taste. Good luck with that Chocolope Kush! I let my Chocolope go a shade over 10 weeks, although some people say to pull it at 9 weeks for optimal flavor. Mine was still getting fatter, so I let her have some extra time.

yeah, chocolate rain by e$kob@r is chocolope x dj short's cocoa kush... it's very nice ime..
i didn't really get a chocolate pheno in the ones i ran, mine was more on the earthy, skunky funky side of things imo.

I grew some of those chocolope kush this summer and they were identical to my reg plain chocolope , so either the chocolope is super dominate or I they got seeds packs mix up . I smoke a lot so taste is important to me. I had an Ice Cream pheno that was out of this world. Grown out 2 packs since and havent found it again. Bubba Kush from Dr Greenthumb is my current tastiest. I have grown out 6 TGA strains and they would all rate as tasty, just not overly potent. Vortex and Agent Orange were the best. I agree with the others on Chocolate Rain. I have one just finishing and it is pure berry funk.

yes exactly... i had a dinafem og kush that had that musty kush side i remember from the mk-ultra. the piney side must ceom from the g13 which is also bomb when its real.

ive agreed with MOST of what racerboy has said in this thread so far... purple haze, gdp, mk-ultra, pre 98 bubba so on. i just dont care for the chocolate tastes. i got sick of the cocoa kush i was gettin a while back. chocolope was better imo. the pre 98 bubba pheno i have leans towards the sweeter side just a tad thank god. its actually delectable, and notoriously hard to keep from the masses

I know that there is a ton of different varieties, but. if you like kinda piney/tropical sativas: Pineapple express from G13 labs has been a winner for me so far. its just not my fav personally, but all my friends always want it when its harvested. i have to keep some cuz my girl likes the sativa in it.
yeah... i had some blueberry from the same source as the cocoa. all Dj shorts. he did it right the first few times, and then the clones lost that blueberry taste and it went more skunky. wierd. but yeah the first couple times he did it, it went for rediculous prices and all. nasty strong blueberry taste, almost hard to believe. i tried to get him to give me a clone but hes a strain hoarder. hell show me the plants all day but wont share
