Been watching in the background The Walking Dead, kind of by accident. Hit the button too early on the PS4 and said fuck it. I was too shitfaced to realize after a couple of episodes this isn't a flashback, it's just the first season, lol. I gave up on this show, because like the show Weeds it suffers from the fact that it has to continually become more over-the-top ridiculous/fantastical nonsense that at some point just becomes annoying (after the prison for me in TWD and the President/some possibly generic mexican official in weeds, been awhile so I don't remember)

Sipping some really good Sumatra dark roast coffee too. I'm hoping this Amish farmer will give me a loaf of zucchini bread that his wife makes, last time I was at this farm he hooked me up with a strawberry rhubarb pie and some zucchini bread

Another Netflix movie, that I've expected too much of and I ended up being slightly dissapointed.

Opposite reaction here. I've watched it like twenty times an I'm not done yet. Absolutely lyrical treatment of the space program imo. Would recommend.

The stop-motion Saturn launch scene with that interesting rhythm signature in the soundtrack is pure art ...

you decide.

I think the music got in the way of the sound of the rocket's engine. The engine signature is a beauty all it's own.

Just pirated and watched Joker. Wow. Very dark and disturbing, definitely Phoenix's best performance to date. Very challenging role for him, especially when up against Heath Ledger's version a few years ago. He held his own. Great direction and cinematography, too. The film brought a vulnerable and gritty realism that other DC worlds don't, which just added to its effectiveness. Recommended...
