obviously its not soil. ive seen ppl with their plants in like... rocks....

how does that work? any1 tell me abit about it? if no1 knows what i mean ill get a pic

I dont really know much bout hydro but yeah I think u can use clay balls for it tho i think a mix of perlite vermikulite and clay balls is better. But like i said i dont kno hydro I still use soil and perlite mix as i think less can go wrong and if it does its easier to fix.

Hydrotons...keeps moisture and hides the rockwool from getting light. gets all algae and crusty and shit
