What are the sign of a female being hermi

hello

my plants are all female but i noticed one of the females started forming lager calaxes. im in the 5th week of flowering.

and i want to be positive thats its a hermi or not. also do hermis usally pollinate all the plants or just themselves because if one plant has seeds i dont care but i dont want the other 3 to have seeds to. this is my medicine and i would like all of them to pull through.


does anyone have a pic of a hermi or can help me figure out if it is a hermi. ive never had a hermi in my life before.

female calyxes swell when they flower. a hermy will have male pods.

do the male pods turn yellow oor no?


any kind of info would be great i dont wanna get rid of them. its 5wks in flower wouldnt they show signs of hermi earlier in the flowering stage????

yes, the males will have yellowing before the nuts open up and pollinate your whole stash. I have a hermi in my grow room now that's been flowering for over 12 weeks and I cut the nuts off every other day. the plant has thusfar only pollinated itself and none of the other 4 girls in my room. I can repost in a few days if you want with a pic of the hermie if that helps? Let me know.

The pollen sacks on a hermie will become yellow once they've ripened & dispersed the pollen inside.

If you've got yellow pollen sacks i'd say they've allready dispersed their pollen,when their fully open they look kinda like a clam shell thats opened up & yellow.

Hermies can come at any time in the grow,they can show within a week of 12/12 or they can show at 90 days, or anywhere inbetween,pollen sacks on hermies can also be found on the bud as well as in the node area.

well what should i do. its a 5ft plant with athleast a oz or more on it at this point i dont wanna throw it away but i dont wanna lose it

Whats the big adversion to seeds in weed anyway,hell,right now im trying to learn how to properly seed my weed,seeds are not a bad thing.

not much you can do. if there are other plants in the room with it it will mess with them. if it's alone you can let it go. i had a hermie earlier this year. it pollinated the plants next to it but not itself. it turned out being some really good smoke.

but i'd still slap it. if only to make myself feel better.

yeah somethin because this crop looks great and they are all 4-5ft and "heavy" and i would hate to lose any.

i started with 13 plants and only 5 were female. so i wouldnt want to lose another. i usually have better female to male ratio. but i had to go on vacation for 1.5 weeks and the lights had to be off. i dodnt want a fire or somethin. so i know that effected em and i think thats the main reason why i had alot of males. so i didnt flower for another month after i got back hoping they wouldnt turn male but alot already did. if i have the time i will take some pics later in the weeks to show you my girls and my tranvestite. LOL

Heres a pic of my baby. i killed the other two they had to many balls for me likeing.


so this one is a hermi also...but less balls.


heres a question....Will the seeds be pollinated by other plants or by this plant because their is seeds and purple wreck is some bomb as purple. this plant is not purple but looks great tho.


How long do you think it has left???
im thinking next thursday the pics was from yesterday.

also dosnt it looks bad ass since i bent it so the lower branches are forming bigger colas..

i also gave it some gravity to harden the flowers i think it looks good tell me what you think.

If this plant is segregated from any other males it will pollinate itself and you will have feminised seeds. Granted with a higher chance of hermie.
Where did you get the original seeds?

no the plant was with 2 other females. they all turned hermi and they started forming seeds so i took the other two out.

i think the seeds will be good no matter what.

friggin' hermies. the last one doesn't look too bad.

i hate hermies...what happened was...i had to leave upruptly and for security reasons i had to leave the lights off for 2 weeks and so it fucked my plants all up. i got like 9 males out of 13 plants thats insane. so i dont really care about this grow but i must finish my only purple wreck female i had this grow.
