im just wondering what strains are the best for the east coast when it comes to resistance to disease and mold ?

Take your pick, might wanna look under outdoor strains. Dont really matter though, if its gonna happen its gonna happen.

Um, actually, it matters a LOT! I had some bubblegum x durban in a greenhouse, and they got mold before the buds even joined into a cola...and I kept the humidity as low as was humanly possible. The Jack the Ripper x Qleaner I have outside is pretty much soaked 24/7, but not a speck of mold, and it's the second half of October now!
To the OP, try looking at outdoor Canadian strains. They have a cold, rainy climate too, and there's a lot of outdoor growing there. Naturally, they developed lot's of mold resistant strains.

Umm a greenhouse isnt exactly outdoors mate... Greenhouse has different environment conditions at play.

If you got mold that was due to you not being able to control your greenhouse environment correctly that has nothing to do with the strain. Also I told the OP to check outdoor strains did I not?
Outdoor hybrids like just about every marijuana seeds these days you buy are disease and mold resistant thats why they are classified under "Outdoor" strains. Nice try though

well i grow out in the back yard and their is a bit of vegetation so i need a resistant plant. i here indica is more resistant to disiease than sativa yet im not sure.

Hey man, I grow near Ottawa and since my whole grow messed up due to cold temp this year (GHS's White widow and Super Lemon Haze), iv been doing alot of research on the topic lately.
Im preety sure that what Your looking for are strains that can handle BC climate... Theres a couple strains made specifically for hardy plants to better handle cold, wet and even frost periods. They are very early flowering finishing in late septembre (Max), so you get less chances of getting a few cold nights in a row, most likely, you can get a frost during the night and 20 degree weather the next day.
Iv been hearing alot about a strain called "Timewarp"... Theres even a video on YT about her. Check for outdoor strains that finish early, plant them a little deeper preferably in native soil...
Dont forget that sometimes, no matter what strain you have, mother nature can trow curv balls, but having an outdoor resistant strain will defenetly help.
