What are the best methods for growing tighter nuggs?

I know my CO2 just blows em up like steroids ... that's no help ... Metal Halides cause more leaf production and less solid bud right? And HPS will make them more solid? The only thing that has worked is growing them in colder temperatures in the end ... I don't understand why that works. But it decreases my yield ... not really worth the trade off.

Any advice on making my nuggs get a little more solid?

What about more light or mix of HPS and CMH?

some strains are fluffier, some are rock hard. i like fluffy myself fits right in the bowl and burns perfect without having to use a grinder

Increase your light intensity. What is your current watts/sf?

More light and optimum conditions. And - you might sacrifice some other flowers on the plant to grow fewer, stronger buds.

More blue light in the first two weeks of flower will cause less stretching = shorter inter-nodal space = denser nugs.
