What are my buds so small?? (WITH PICS)!!

I am day 32 of 12/12 why are tese so small. this is my first grow.

How far away is the light?

they arent fully flowered, in time they will fatten

about a foot and a half. i had some burning..... its a 1000w HPS hortilux.. unere 6 plants i dont think thats the problem

Is it an air-cooled light?

No but its snowing here so its really easy to control the temps. i have a 6 inch exhaust fan blowing inside the grow room and at night i cover it up so it only lets in a little cold air temps stay around 70-85

I mean I agree with everyone else too, your plants will fatten up in the next few weeks. But the light could be a little ways away . My light is aircooled from the top and doesnt have tempered glass, so its really not getting the benefit of being Cooled. So I keep my light about 8 inches above the top. I just put my hand right above the tops of the plants to see how hot it gets. Are you using Co2, and ferts?

im using GH 3 part thats it. no Co2. i wanna get some Bigbud from Advanced Nutes.

Is that for flowering? Im not too sure.. You may just have a long flowering strain, where it's going to take you a little longer to bud and mature.. you never know.

yeah we will see. my plants are like 4 feet tall also.. BIG bud is for flowering. it is suppost to give you bigger buds

Yeah id deff. pick that up. Ive noticed the taller plants get, the more thinned out the buds are. if that makes any sense. its like the taller they get, the more buds it tries to produce.. rather than a few main top colas receiving all the light..

is that blue widow?

I keep my 1000 watt light about 10 inches away with no glass or cool tubes.I just use the back omy hand test to make sure. The plants look sativa heavu so that automatically makes the grow alot longer then an indicas. In these type aero sets I build to use I veg for about 10 days under 24 hours light then go 12/12 for about 5-7 weeks and finish at about 3-4 feet. You have alot of stretching which could be the light or the sativa in them.Heres a pic of a grow in a similar setup I built at 3 weeks using fox farm nutes

VERY NICE FILTH!! Yeah i think its strain related. what is your strain?? how do you feel about lollipopping the plants in the kind of set up? what method do you use? also how many plants you got there? what is your average yeild?
